Are you ready for the Big Game? Great brands like Coca-Cola, DiGiorno® Stuffed Crust Pizza and Ritz Crackers make it easy and affordable for anyone to throw a great football party! Last weekend we enjoyed a day of football and food. Today I’m going to share my recipe for Ritz Balls and I’ve got some other tips for how you can creatively use these products to make your football party food fun and fresh!
DiGiorno® Pizza is located in the freezer section at Walmart. Look for special displays on the end cap of the freezer, featuring their Stuffed Crust Pepperoni variety.
I like to have all my party food ready to go! DiGiorno® Pizza is so delicious and affordable, and because “it’s not delivery,” it is a worry-free menu item, making it perfect for your game day buffet. Plus it takes just 20 minutes to make extra pizza, and that extra mouthful of cheese in DiGiorno® Stuffed Crust Pizza is to die for!
If you want to make the pizza presentation a little more creative, try cutting the pizza in to slices, then roll the slices, and secure with tooth picks to make delicious pizza rollers. These are perfect to eat alone, or dip them in garlic butter, ranch, or any other sauce you like.
And to make your party table pop, try decorating with food tents and other fun party printables.
We are definitely a Coke drinking family! Currently I’ve got my fridge stocked with Coca Cola 24-packs and their 6-pack .5 liter bottles. You may also find the products as part of a Home Bowl 2015 display at the front of your store.
I like to have drinks, cups, and plates separate from food. It gives you two separate areas for people to gather, and in the event of a spill, you don’t have to worry about grabbing up your food and other party items.
For parties, it’s easy to make your drink bar fun and festive. Here I used just a little decor (place mats, a football lantern, plates, cups, ribbon, and plates) to make things a little more festive. You can also dress up you cups and bottles with some printable labels. Also, add some fun paper straws to your bar for a little added flair!
And just add a gallon of vanilla ice cream to create a fun Coke Float Bar!
I always have Ritz Crackers on hand for snacking. Look for the products in the cracker and cookie aisle. The product is also featured in the Home Bowl Display with Coke in select stores.
Ritz Crackers are so versatile and are a must-have item if you’re serving easy appetizers! Serve them alongside your favorite dips. (I love them with Spinach Dip and Ranch Dip.) Or add them to a meat & cheese tray.
And if you’re up for some hearty meal time options, add Ritz Crackers to chili or your favorite soup or stew. They also make a great crumble for macaroni & cheese, casseroles and other main dishes!
You can also incorporate Ritz in to your dessert menu! I love making these Ritz Balls for parties! With just 3 ingedients, they are quick and easy to make, and very affordable. And they will definitely make you and your guests ponder, “How can something so simple be so good?”

Ritz Balls
Yield: About 36 Balls
Ingredients:
2 sleeves Ritz crackers
1 1/3 cups peanut butter
10 blocks almond bark
Directions:
Crush up crackers inside a zipper bag. Pour crumbs in to a small bowl. Add peanut butter and mix well. Chill in the freezer for about 30 minutes so the mixture will be less sticky.
Roll in to one inch balls using a cookie scoop or roll out by hand. (If you're rolling out by hand, and the mixture is still sticky, you should return it to the freezer, or cover your hands with a little flour or powdered sugar to prevent the peanut butter from sticking to you.
Let balls chill in the refrigerator or freezer for 30 minutes to an hour.
Next melt to your almond bark using your microwave or double boiler. Dip your balls and place on a sheet of wax paper. Let set and serve.
Notes
Use sprinkles, candies, decorator gel, or icing to decorate, if desired.
You may also use chocolate chips for dipping.

As for other party food tips, just think “variety.” Try to have a a mix of hot and cold items, and be sure to consider everyone on your guest list when you get ready to plan your menu so you have something for everybody.
And remember that a little goes a long way. Keep your menu simple. Don’t be afraid to use convenience items, and never be afraid to think outside the box!
Are you planning a football party? What will YOU be serving?
