I had this crazy idea to write a personality quiz asking “which white is your style?”. Never before done on the blog. Yes, I created these characters and had fun doing it. Probably the result of a temporary sugar high from inhaling too much peppermint bark, another story entirely. I thought this would be a fun departure from my normal posts. Each character has a brief, although very detailed, description. I even selected a specific white paint to match their traits!

1. Mod Traditionalist. Are you spontaneous? More modern than traditional? Are you always ready for an adventure? Do your friends have trouble keeping up with your ever-changing plans? Is a trip to Japan or an African safari on your bucket list?
This gal knows how to rock leopard without looking too fixed or fussy. Young at heart, she prefers an edited wardrobe and interior with a modern twist. But not too modern, please. It’s not about the labels, it’s all about her personal style. Paris is her best friend. How does she like her white interior? Simple and creamy with no yellow undertones.
2. Elegant & Glam Baroness. Do you crave chic over casual? Is Grace Kelly one of your style heros? Are you more inspired by the ballet than the latest movie? Do trends strike you as petty?
We would never call her a diva, but this lady does enjoy the finer things in life. A perfect evening would be chilled champagne and caviar on toast points. She’s mastered the art of elegance and doesn’t mind donning her pearls with jeans…when the moment is right, of course. The perfect hostess, she’ll woo you with her wit and charm, and dazzle a crowd with her perfect Bellini cocktails. Her white interior color of choice? Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace. After all, white must be pure, simple, and classic.
3. Earthy Sophisticate. Is the word organic part of your style DNA? Do you fancy yourself helping others over hunting down that perfect little black dress? Are yoga and/or nature hikes the best way for your to relax? How many journals do you have? How many pets have you rescued?
At first she may seem a little shy, but not to worry, she’s just an artist with a big heart and creative ideas swirling in her head. There’s a chance you might find a vegan leather bound book on her nightstand filled with her poetry. She loves clean eating and dabbles with the idea of growing her own herb garden. But first she has to tackle that charitable auction for her local animal welfare center. Her white of choice is creamy and calm -Benjamin Moore’s Swiss Coffee.
4. Chic Urbanite. Do you often find yourself working late at night or before sunrise to meet a self-given deadline? Do you value a good blazer and chunky watch over a frilly dress? Are the Starbucks baristas on a first name basis with you? Does clutter make you break out in a rash? Do you sometimes find yourself with at least two digital devices within inches of your hands?
Type A with serious style. She’s a doer, coffee lover, and savvy shopper. The grass doesn’t grow under the feet of this go-getter. Minimalist at heart, she saves up for a few big purchases each season. Most likely her clothes are organized by color, but she might surprise you with her not-so-neat junk drawer hidden in the kitchen. She knows all the latest and greatest, including this fabulous cocktail recipe from the Surrey on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Her white of choice? Simply white. The name says it all.

If you chose Number 1: you tend to be a high energy multi-tasker with more eclectic taste. You crave excitement, and can get bored easily, so you like to mix things up, whether it’s in your wardrobe or even changing up a gallery wall. If you chose Number 3: you’re earthy and enjoy the simpler things in life like sipping tea and reading a great novel. You do tend to be introverted and don’t mind quiet nights at home. Giving is second nature to you, and you love to help others just as much as you enjoy a creative day crafting at home. Tip: since you give a lot of yourself, remember to reconnect with nature to charge your batteries.
If you chose Number 4: your key to sanity is organization and an active calendar. Two words not in your vocabulary? Slowing down. You’re a big picture and results-oriented personality and don’t like to get bogged down in details. The good news is everyone can always count on you to lead and be a trendsetter. Tip: give yourself a guilt-free pajama day at home to unwind and unplug.
