I am searching for the right words to describe my experience at the Hotel La Perla in Corvara , but the only thing I would say is: wonderful. This hotel is named “pearl” because it is a real pearl, nestled between the majestic peaks of the mountains that overlook the snow-covered valleys of Trentino, a postcard scenery that the Costa family, owner of Hotel La Perla, protect and preserve since time with numerous projects and initiatives. Cordiality and kindness are among the top qualities of the staff that can be appreciated, perceived already on arrival at the hotel in which, I assure you, it was not difficult to acclimate in. Accompanied in the room, a warm suite overlooking the Sassongher mountain, I felt like home: the wood that surrounds the room, the decor of a log cabin and the snow gently going down the window transmit a serenity that only your own home can give you. A sophisticated environment, but at the same time typical that of the halls of the bar and restaurant Le Stues, both inside the hotel. A cooking based on km0 philosophy, expressly desired by the Costa family, to enhance the flavors of local production. An exhaustive search but which is awarded with each dish. A “record” cellar is waiting to satisfy all your needs and to accompany your dishes: more than twenty-seven thousand bottles are present and from the most popular areas of our beautiful country and beyond. An example is of course the “collection” of Sassicaia, the most important of Europe, made of very prestigious and high rarity bottles. In the morning, early wake up to enjoy the numerous mountain activities but first, I recommend a nice breakfast: rich tables of delicacies of all kinds, ranging from sweet to savory that spoilt the choice. Relaxation and well-being are not hard to find at La Perla Hotel ; you can just go down one floor and find yourself in a beautiful SPA equipped with every comfort, where you are the protagonists. Pensavo in tutti i modi a come potervi raccontare l’esperienza avuta all’Hotel La Perla di Corvara in Badia, ma l’unica cosa che mi verrebbe da dire è : stupenda.
Questo hotel è una perla di nome e di fatto, incastonato tra le cime dei monti maestosi che si affacciano sulle vallate innevate del Trentino, un paesaggio da cartolina che la famiglia Costa , titolare dell’Hotel la Perla, tutela e preserva da anni con numerosi progetti ed iniziative.
Cordialità e gentilezza sono tra le prime qualità che si possono apprezzare nello staff , percepite già all’arrivo in hotel nel quale vi assicuro, non è stato difficile ambientarsi.
Accompagnato in camera , una calda suite che affaccia sul monte Sassongher, mi sono sentito a casa: il legno che circonda la stanza, le decorazioni tipiche di una baita e la neve che dolcemente vedo scendere dalla finestra trasmette una serenità che solo la propria casa può dare.
Un ambiente sofisticato ma allo stesso tempo tipico mi aspetta nelle sale del bar e del ristorante Le Stues , uno dei due presenti nell’ hotel. Una cucina che basa la sua filosofia sul km0, espressamente voluta dalla famiglia Costa, per valorizzare i sapori dei prodotti tipici locali. Una ricerca estenuante ma che viene premiata ad ogni singola pietanza proposta.
Una cantina “da record” vi aspetta per soddisfare ogni vostra esigenza e per accompagnare i vostri piatti: sono più di ventisettemila le bottiglie presenti e provenienti dalle zone più famose del nostro bel paese e non solo.
Un esempio su tutti è di certo la “collezione” di Sassicaia, la più importante d’Europa, nella quale figurano bottiglie molto prestigiose e di una elevata rarità.
La mattina sveglia presto per vivere al meglio le numerose attività di montagna ma prima , mi raccomando, una bella colazione: tavoli ricchi di prelibatezze di ogni genere, che spaziano dal dolce al salato e che creano imbarazzo nella scelta.
Relax e benessere non sono difficili da trovare nell’ Hotel la Perla ; basta infatti scendere di un piano e trovarsi in una bellissima spa provvista di ogni confort , dove siete voi i protagonisti assoluti.
Dopo una giornata con gli sci infatti non dovete far altro che lasciarvi andare: vi aspettano massaggi rigeneranti, sauna e bagno turco curati nei minimi dettagli e una piscina con zone di idro-massaggio. Il personale poi, sa bene come coccolarvi e mettervi a proprio agio.
