I have always felt so bad for people with nut allergies. Peanut Butter is a must have in my pantry and I’d be lost without it. Imagine for a second the excitement I had when I check the mail and there are 4 jars of PB Crave peanut butter in there.

*Drool*

Before I get into my review I want to tell you a little about PB Crave. They were founded almost 100 years ago as Curt’s Peanut Butter Company and to this day use only the highest quality ingredients. Their peanut butters use no artificial preservatives, hydrogenated oils or syrups. There’s also no high fructose corn syrup! Because of the lack of preservatives they do have a shorter than normal shelf life compared to other peanut butters.

There were 4 different flavors of PB Crave peanut butter in the box:

Razzle Dazzle: (wild honey, dark chocolate, white cocoa butter drops and natural raspberry flavor)

Cookie Nookie: (wild honey, chocolate chips and cookie dough flavor)

CoCo Bananas: (wild honey, chocolate and natural banana flavor)

Choco Choco: (wild honey, sweet & dark chocolate)

If you’re a peanut butter fan I know at least one of these flavors has left your mouth drooling. That’s how it was when I opened the box and started looking. Especially with the CoCo Bananas; PB & banana sandwiches were a lunch box staple for me growing up.

It was definitely hard trying to decide which peanut butter to try first. So, I decided to invite some friends over to try them all together. Some people do wine tastings, I did a peanut butter tasting! Here was the consensus of our tasting party.

Razzle Dazzle

This was a good peanut butter, however the raspberry flavor was a bit underplayed. I was expecting it to jump out but instead it just kind of teased me from the side lines. The raspberry flavor is highly pronounced as an aftertaste but it’s just not there when you’re first tasting.

Cookie Nookie

Alright, who doesn’t love cookie dough? Hello! Cookie Dough and peanut butter seem like a dream and PB Crave turned it into a reality. My only issue with this peanut butter was all the cookie dough goodness settled at the bottom so be prepared to put in some elbow grease to stir it up.

CoCo Bananas

I already told you how I feel about peanut butter and bananas; it’s one of my favorite flavor combinations. The CoCo Bananas peanut butter is exceptionally good and reminds me so much of my childhood. The banana is very pronounced and the peanut butter is so creamy and good.

Choco Choco

I personally wish this had a more pronounced chocolate flavor. Instead it’s more like a high quality peanut butter which makes me happy. Everyone agreed that Choco Choco is their favorite peanut butter flavor of the 4.

Each flavor has its own special place in my heart now. Being able to switch from boring ol’ PB&J to something a lot more elegant is fantastic. I can’t wait to start baking with the different flavors and see what I come up with, so be sure to check back for some great recipes using PB Crave Peanut Butter! In the meantime be sure to check out their website and connect with PB Crave on Facebook and on Twitter.
