The next new Mercedes-Benz
C-Class will be unveiled rather soon at the 2014 North American
International Auto Show in January, and the luxury brand has begun revealing
quite a bit about the new ride. Recently, the automaker even released a teaser
video for the new, budget-conscious ride.

The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class model will sit on the
brand's MRA platform, which will also be utilized for the next-generation
Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class. The new model will be a bit longer than its
predecessor which makes it a bit more different from the Mercedes-Benz
CLA-Class than the previous model.

We also know the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class will
have a longer wheelbase but a lighter weight. In terms of design, it will look
like a combination of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class with the front grille of the
Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Inside, the cabin will receive more luxurious materials
and the largest display in its class, which is promised to be more
user-friendly than before.

If you're curious to hear more about the top-level
Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG, you'll have to wait a bit longer, as this model will be
introduced a few months after the standard Mercedes-Benz C-Class vehicles. We
have heard, however, that it will take advantage of a twin-turbo 5.5-liter V-8
that will produce a hefty 525-hp.
