Jim Whitehurst Keynote Address

Jim Whitehurst presented his keynote address and talked about the innovation with the open source community and coming together and sharing what everyone has done over the past year. He offered insight into coming into the dawn of the information revolution and how it’s changing what organizations value.

Bonus Segment – Day 1 General Session

Craig Muzilla opened the general session on day one with the question “Does technology really matter?” He said that what matters is how you create new value and new business models with the technology. Throughout the session, he and others walked through examples of new ways businesses can create value with new technology.

Bonus Segment – Day 2 General Session

Thomas Cameron opened the general session on day two with the Open Source Stories segment about e-Nable with RIT Labs and how they are designing prosthetics with a 3D printer.

Kickoff Day One

Dave Vellante and Stu Miniman kicked off day one at the Red Hat Summit 2015 in Boston. They discussed the trends happening and which ones are here to stay. Dave talked about the convergence happening within industries and Stu commented on what’s happening in the mobile world.
