Bar Signature

Well come on, it makes perfect sense to start the night off in Signature Living’s very own hotel bar. Not only is Bar Signature a mere elevator ride away but there’s also a guarantee of top quality scouse bar banter and some cracking drinks to match.

Enjoy the sultry sounds of RnB amidst super chic and stylish surroundings whilst you plan where to head off to next.

Temple Court Revolution

If your mum can’t get enough of those little chilli vodka shots, then Revolution is your next stop.

Simply take a walk up the iconic Matthew street, cross the road and you’re there, one of four Revolutions, this one is Temple Court.

Ignite mum’s childhood nostalgia with some classic sweet shop flavoured shots, the cola cube, blackjack or jelly baby are recent additions to the menu.

The cocktail menu has been spiced up too with a little kick of Sailor Jerry in a few new mouth-watering combinations.

There’s an ice cooled coffee with called Ship Shake and a Latin classic with a tropical twist with the Sailor Cherry Mojito. Yum.

The Alchemist

The next stop on our cocktail tour of Liverpool will bring you to The Alchemist.

Watch masters of the bizarre, weird and wonderful create drinks that will astound and amaze. See what mum makes of the magical mixology that takes place behind the bar of The Alchemist.

Here you and mum can pop a bottle of something fizzy or enjoy a glass of fine wine.

But why do that when there’s an amazing table of tantalising cocktails tailored to tickle your taste buds?

With ingredients like Fire, Nettle Stings, Magic and Childhood, mixed with premium spirits and a little bit of raspberry dust, just imagine the likely hood of mum tasting something memorable at The Alchemist in Liverpool.

Carpathia

Just around the corner and you, mum and all her friends have made it to our next tour destination. On Liverpool’s famed World Heritage Waterfront, we enter the next bar on our cocktail tour of Liverpool, Carpathia Champagne Bar.

Make your way to the 7th floor of the stunning Titanic themed hotel and take your place on the rooftop terrace overlooking Albert Dock. Take in jaw-dropping views as you work through the menu of scintillating beverages on offer.

Whilst you are waiting why not enjoy some of Molly Brown’s Bar Bites? A small snack to keep your energy up until tea time.

At Carpathia, the menu is separated into sections that reflect the passing of a voyage across the Atlantic. Embarkation, Anchors Aweigh, Crossing the Mid-Atlantic, The Captains Table and Disembarkation.

The extensive choices include a variety of flavoured Martini’s, classic favourites like Cosmopolitans or Daquiris and refreshing Champagne Cocktails.

The maritime theme of 30 James Street and Carpathia is continued throughout the cocktail menu. There’s even a representation of the final drinks served on board Titanic, Punch Romaine. Treat mum to some classy cocktails in Liverpool’s most stunning rooftop bar.

The Club House

If your mum has ever fancied a trip to the Hamptons, we can’t help you…but we can bring her to a Liverpool city centre alternative at The Club House.

In the centre of Liverpool One, The Club House looks as though it has been plucked up from the suburbs of New York and dropped off in Liverpool One.

We think it’s time you had something to eat now as well and The Club House menu has something for everyone so you’ll be glad you waited until now for tea.

For after dinner drinks there’s a stunning list of classic cocktails, mixed to perfection. The Old Club Fashioned is a delicious twist on the classic drink, with cinnamon spice and walnut bitters, the perfect way to finish a delicious meal.

Brass Monkey

Time to make your way across Liverpool now, and follow us on to the trendier nightlife district in town.

On your way through Liverpool One, down a secluded back street, there’s a little-known gem of a cocktail bar named Brass Monkey.

Not only a fabulous find as far as their mouth-watering drinks are concerned but the décor is unassumingly charming and there’s even a swing in the bar for you to enjoy whilst you drink.

Enjoy a selection of Gin based cocktails, such as a spicy yet refreshing Hendricks, or a face-puckeringly sour Bramble.

Brass Monkey has a fun and quirky décor that is reminiscent of an ancient sailor’s bar in Shanghai. A brilliant picture perfect place to stop off on the way to the Ropewalks.

Alma de Cuba

The one that everybody has been looking forward to on our tour is Alma de Cuba. This most glamourous cocktail venue in Liverpool is set in an ancient church and draws in celebrity clientelle, VIP’s and those looking for a classy night out in town.

With seven pages of cocktails to choose from you and the ladies will be spoiled for choice. There’s a Latin-themed page, a classic page, Alma de Cuba’s own creations and even a sharing page for those who want to.

The quality of the cocktails matches the surroundings in Alma de Cuba, you’ll be sure to impress mum and her mates in here during your Mother’s Day night out in Liverpool.

Arthouse Bar

For a movie-mad mummy, Arthouse Bar is next up on our cocktail tour of Liverpool.

It’s here where your mum can wrap her lips around cocktails inspired by her favourite stars of the big screen.

Try a Charlie ChapGin or a Lizz Taylor Fizz, both long tall and full of fabulous flavour. What’s better is that in Arthouse you can challenge mummy and her mates to a Ping-Pong tournament, adding a little competitive fun to the evening.

During breaks, take some selfies with our very own King Kong or enjoy ancient classic movies flickering across the walls of the bar.

Arthouse Bar is located at the very heart of the Ropewalks district, putting you and your mum in a great position to head on to the next bar of our tour.

Some Place

Now here’s a cocktail bar in Liverpool that won’t be forgotten in a hurry. Despite its elusive name, Some Place will be one of those places you’ll be glad you came across.

As with any bar serving Absinthe, Some Place is shrouded in mystery and intrigue, it’s difficulty to locate just makes it all the more special.

After you’ve managed to find Some Place, you can enjoy a variety of Absinthe based cocktails. As well the bar staff are who are more than happy to enhance your understanding of what it is you are drinking.

Whilst you may be past the point of retaining valuable information on this amazing night out in Liverpool, at least you’ll have vague green tinged recollections of a bar called Some Place.

Concert Square

Time for a little fresh air to enjoy your next cocktails alfresco. For this stop, we’re not recommending one bar, in particular, just an outdoor area that’s bound to make some marvellous mother’s day memories for you, mum and all her friends.

Concert Square is surrounded by a choice of top Liverpool bars and clubs, with outdoor space heaters and cosy seating areas that are great for a few drinks under the stars.

Even though we won’t recommend one drink, in particular, we’re sure you’ll find it easy to pick out a good one.

Motel

On route back to where we started now and just about done for the evening.

Not before we get you to pop in on another hidden gem of Liverpool’s cocktail bar scene.

Motel is an industrial chic venue complete with cage-like walls, neon lighting and one heck of a cocktail menu.

Don’t be fooled by the dimly lit interior, the amazing quality of tasty beverages created by the talented bar team here are to die for.

Classy concoctions like the Earl of Framboise with its sweet, creamy flavour and subtle taste of Earl Grey tea or perhaps something a little fizzy with the Rosey and Gin, made up of Rose syrup Prosecco and of course, Gin.

Once you are in it’s hard to leave but let’s not forget what you’re going back to at the end of our cocktail tour of Liverpool.

Nightcap in Bar Signature

That’s right back where you started and time to call it a night.

Enjoy yourself with another of our two for one cocktail rounds as you recount your amazing night out together in Liverpool.

Then it’s a quick elevator ride up to your luxury group accommodation room in Signature Living Hotel, complete with comfortable double beds, double Jacuzzi baths and a huge flat screen TV.
