Very warm today as high pressure rules off the West coast. So Bishop looks to run about 100, Big Pine 99, Independence 97, Lone Pine 97, Reno 92, Lancaster 105, Death Valley 118 and Las Vegas a cool 107. Slightly cooler on Tuesday as high pressure weakens a bit in response to low pressure approaching the coast. As the week progress and with high pressure weakening, the onshore flow will increase, so temps should drop to the mid 90s in the Owens Valley. Partly cloudy skies each afternoon with a chance of thunderstorms thru Tuesday in Mono County, where they will enjoy a more cooler period with temps 80 – 90.

Owens Valley:

Today: Sunny. Highs 98 – 101 / Lows 65 – 68. Winds SW 10 – 15 mph G 25 mph.
Tuesday: Sunny. Highs 95  – 98 / Lows 69 – 72. Winds SE 10 – 15 mph.

Town of Mammoth Lakes (7,800 – 8,200 feet):

Today: 20% chance of isolated showers & thunderstorms.  Highs 77 / Lows 48. Winds SW 10 – 15 mph.
Tuesday: 20% chance of thunderstorms. Highs 75 / Lows 47. Winds SW 5 – 10 mph.

Mono County:

Today: Becoming partly cloudy slight chance of isolated showers & thunderstorms. Highs 80 – 90 / Lows 40 – 50. Winds SW 10 – 15 mph.
Tuesday: 20% chance of thunderstorms. Highs 77 – 87 / Lows 36 – 46. Winds W 10 mph.
