‘s biggest cheerleaders when it comes to her successful modeling career, her 18-year-old younger sister isn’t reciprocating the kindness.
In a recent interview, Kendall admitted she doesn’t want her older sister attending any of her fashion shows
.
The model–who bared her breasts on the NYFW runway earlier this week–told The Cut
magazine, “Kim was invited to a lot of the shows that I was in. She called me before and was like, ‘Hey, I was invited to the show, I just wanted you to know. Do you want me to come?” and I was like, ‘No.’”
LOL! Well, I supposed honesty is the best policy!
But in reality, Kendall probably doesn’t want Kim there because she continues trying to strip herself of her television fame
when it comes to her modeling career–even going as far as to drop “Jenner†from her name
.
“I want to be high fashion. I want to be taken seriously. People think that this [success] just came to me. But it didn’t. What I have has almost worked against me,” she explains to the publication.
And Kim seems to understand as well adding, “She had to work extra hard to gain this respect and to fight for people to see she’s serious. Marc Jacobs gave her a real shot
and treated her like any other model. He believed in her and opened the door for her. Then Riccardo [Tisci] and Karl [Lagerfeld] gave her a chance and she has proven that she’s the real deal. Her hard work paid off, and that makes me so proud.”
Now that’s a good older sister!
