12th Gawad Tanglaw 2013 Winners: Network War, Indie vs. Mainstream and Surprise Special Awards



The result of the 12th Gawad Tanglaw awards delivers an unpredictable roster of winners. From Bela Padilla's Best Supporting Actress award for 10,000 hours to uprising Best Supporting Actor winners Marlon Rivera and Joey Paras and tons of awards given to independent films as against mainstream movies.

Network war pushes through with ABS-CBN winning 9 awards including Best TV Station of the Year versus 7 of GMA-7 and TV5's 6 awards.

Atom Araullo's much talked-about coverage of Typhoon Yolanda wins Developmental Communication Award for Comprehensive Reportage tied with GMA-7's coverage of the same from field correspondent Love Anover.
