L’Oreal Paris Cannes Collection 2016 – Details, Swatches, First Impressions!
Hi everyone, today I am going to talk about the L’Oreal Paris Cannes collection 2016. This year there are eyeliners, lip glosses, lipsticks in addition to foundation and powder. The Infallible liquid foundation, powder foundation, lipsticks that were released last year have been introduced with this collection as well. The new releases are the Silkissime eyeliner and the Infallible Mega Gloss. Both the L’Oreal Paris Silkissime eyeliners and the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Mega Gloss were released long ago internationally but they have hit the Indian market with the Cannes 2016 collection. I received a part of the L’Oreal Paris Cannes Collection so here are the details, swatches price and first impressions of everything I received!

Starting with my favorite products from the Cannes collection, L’Oreal Silkissime eyeliners (pronounced silk-e-seem) are THE creamiest eyeliners I have ever come across. They glide effortlessly and set to a glossy finish within minutes after application. And they do not budge once set. These liners are so pigmented. I am in love with both of the shades I received. 280 Gold Or is the best shade of gold eyeliner I have ever used and I cannot stop marveling at its beauty. It is not the in-your-face yellow gold shade, but is a gorgeous antique gold shade that looks great on the eyes as an eyeshadow, eyeliner or inner corner highlight. The shade 220 Plum Prune is also fantastic. It is perfect for brown eyes and can work great as everyday eyeliner.

I used to love brown lispticks when I was in college and I had a nice little collection of light brown to coffee shades. But I am more into pinks and reds these days so I am not very excited about the shade 814 Forever Frappe. Since I have heard so many good things about the Infallible lipsticks, I am expecting many good things from this lipstick. It is creamy and has a good color-payoff, the only thing I did not enjoy much was the smell. I will do a detailed review soon!

L’Oreal Mega Glosses come in different forms – Cream and Dazzle. I received 3 shades from the Dazzle range – 202 Gloss Me I’m Gorgeous, 208 Flash Dance, 210 Disco Ball. I am not into glosses as much (I’m a lipstick gal) but it would be fun to try these out. I think I will get the most use out of the shade 210 since it can be applied on top of any lipstick. The other two shades are way too deep for me. The shade 202 Gloss Me I’m Gorgeous reminds me of the Estee Lauder Pure Color Gloss Plum Divine in a slightly deeper form. While the shade 210 Disco Ball reminds me of the Estee Lauder Pure Color Gloss Pink Kiss (exact dupe). I will report back with detailed reviews once I get to play with these glosses more. But as for the first impression, they are well pigmented, non-sticky and shine like a diamond!

I am so happy to have finally gotten my hands on the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Silkissime eyeliners since I had been lusting after them ever since I had seen them on some international blogs. The formula of the glosses is fabulous even though I am not into lip glosses as much and the shades I received are pretty deep. I am more of a lipstick girl but the shade I received is not the kind I would have picked for myself. The formula of the Infallible lispticks is kickass as well. So even though I am not jumping about the shades I received, the formulas are so fantastic that I would recommend them. There are plenty of shades to choose from.
