Hi everyone! Today I am bringing a comparison of the Etude House BB creams. When I first started exploring Etude House makeup, I came across the Etude House Precious Mineral Bright Fit BB cream. Since BB creams were new in the market I gave it a go. It did not work as per my expectations. Next they launched the Etude House Precious Mineral Cotton Fit BB cream. Then came the Etude House Precious Mineral Blooming Fit BB cream. And last year they added Etude House Precious Mineral Perfect Fit BB cream. The latest addition to this range is the Etude House Precious Mineral Cover & Bright Fit BB cream.

Even though they belong to the same range, they all perform differently. So here is a comparison of the Etude House Precious Mineral BB creams!

I have reviewed the Etude House Precious Mineral Bright Fit BB cream twice at a gap of 15 months. And my experience has been pretty much the same. It is a BB cream with satin to dewy finish and is hydrating to the skin. It gives a bit of a whitecast to the skin. This would suit dry to normal skin especially in winter. Despite having dry skin, I did not enjoy using this BB cream. It was one of the bestselling product from Etude House at one point. And it was the first BB cream in the Etude House Precious Mineral range. But now they have better BB creams than this one. So I’d say skip this one!

I heard about this BB cream just when it was launched and ran to the store (since I was in Korea at the time) to try it. It turned out to be a bit dry for me and the SA also told me that this was geared towards oily skin. One of my close friends picked this up and gave it rave reviews. She wore it in summer without any qualms. It gave her oily skin a matte look and also gave her medium coverage. And this BB cream lasted for about 6-7 hours on her before fading. So if you have oily skin, you can definitely try this out!

With sheer to medium coverage and a dewy finish, the Etude House Precious Mineral Blooming Fit BB cream is everything the Bright Fit BB cream was not. All of the Precious Mineral BB creams do give a slight whitecast to the skin though. Since that look is sort of preferred in Asia, so I would say just go with it. I enjoyed using this BB cream last year and even repurchased it. I used it in both summer and winter. I used it alone in summer without any moisturizer while I applied it on top of my day cream in winter. It worked well for me. If you have normal to dry skin and like dewy skin look, do check this out!

The last one that I tried from Etude House is their Precious Mineral Perfect Fit BB cream. This BB cream had the coverage of a foundation – medium coverage and had the consistency of a BB cream. It worked well for my dry skin but I think it would suit most skin types. It settled to a satin finish and stayed well for 5 hours on the skin before needing touch-ups. Highly recommend it!

Probably the new and improved version of the Etude House Precious Mineral Bright Fit BB cream, the Etude House Precious Mineral Cover & Bright Fit BB cream is a light weight BB cream with light to medium buildable coverage. It is not cakey and looks very natural on the skin. Like its probable predecessor, this one works best for normal to oily skintones. I do recommend it!

Overall I would say that the Etude House Precious Mineral BB creams are worth trying. Most of them offer buildable medium coverage. And for international customers, Etude House have released these in 3 shades: Light Beige N02, Natural beige W13, Honey Beige W24. In my opinion, the skin tones who can find their match are NC 15 to NC 42 (same for NW). All of them do give a bit of white cast on flash. If you have oily skin, then go for the Cotton Fit or Perfect Fit BB cream but if you have dry skin, go for the Blooming Fit, Perfect Fit or Cover & Bright Fit BB creams! Etude House also make Precious Mineral Cushion foundation so check them out if you are into cushion products!
