As reported previously, idol group SHINee has collaborated with the popular global brand Skechers and portal site Naver to release an exclusive line of t-shirts and caps. These items were personally designed by SHINee themselves!

 

A member of the staff said, “This special collaboration with SHINee reflects their different taste in styles. We’ve always considered SHINee as one of the most prominent idol fashionistas so we expect a great response for these designs”

The objective of this collaboration was ‘self-expression’, something that will truly reflect the unique personalities of each member. And sure enough, the trendy t-shirts and caps designed by each member boast their distinctive characters.

 



The leader, Onew (gentle), who was named in honor of his soft-like-tofu appearance, translated his ‘tofu’ ego in his design. His yellow t-shirt and black cap are printed with a smiling tofu, with its arms shaped into a heart.

 



The main vocalist, bling bling Jonghyun, allowed his love for all things SHINee (pun intended) to be reflected through his design. He bedazzled his black colored t-shirt and cap with shiny, shimmering stars.

 

The almighty Key, who is known for his loud personality and unique taste in fashion, took an unusual approach and went for a simple sketch. Instead of the usual bright and quirky colors he often dons, the fashionista kept it neutral with a sketch of yellow hair and the (grammatically incorrect albeit cute) phrase, ‘Key’s bowtie are cool’.

 

Minho expressed his creation with what he is known for, ‘Flaming Charisma’, by having the front of his t-shirt and cap covered in different colored flames. Each flame is personified with a cute facial expression.

 

The maknae Taemin wanted to show a side of himself that hasn’t been seen since his debut five years ago. And so he went with paper clips shaped in the numbers of his birthday, 0718, in fun colors. These uniquely designed paper clips are symbols of Taemin’s hope to fulfil more dreams and to tie them up one by one with a clip.

The shirts and caps will be available for pre-order from June 26 until July 16 and it will be be sold exclusively through Naver shop.
