I am back on reviewing circle lenses! It’s been a while since I last wore circle lenses. I usually don’t get a lot of it for myself before, since my eyes were perfectly fine. But then when I found out my eyesight was becoming blurry, I started wearing glasses. I don’t like wearing glasses AT ALL. It smudges my makeup, it hurts my head, I hate it. So then I settled for clear lenses.

Clear lenses started to bore me, so I told myself, why not go back to colored lenses! I got myself two pairs from UNIQSO and chose some decent designs I find wearable. By wearable, I mean something natural-looking that I can wear to work. kkk~

UNIQSO has got some serious number of designs in their site and it’s not easy to pick just few! They offer tons of designs from well-known Korean and Japanese brands of lenses. Talk about safety! I don’t want to lose my eyesight to fake lenses. It’s very easy to shop in their website too. Buying saves me from the hassle and my orders were processed in less than 24 hours.

They have variety of choices when it comes to shipping too. They have this Express Shipping which costs really cheap! And the products will arrive in less than a week.

I have two designs to review for you guys and the first one is KIMCHI - Kumo Grey Circle Lenses.

DESIGN: 4/5

The design looks exactly the same as how it is in the website. At first glance, I thought it’s pretty huge (well it’s 16mm, so yep!). The design isn’t so natural-looking but I think the grey color is pretty vivid and it is definitely going to be noticeable.

I like grey lenses and I usually pick the ones with designs almost similar to how the natural eyes look like, but to try something different, I gave this one a try.

ENLARGEMENT: 5/5

These lenses are HUGE. You can see how big my eyes looked like with these lenses on! It looks really nice with heavy eye makeup and thick liners. Some grey lenses aren’t too obvious, but this one is very noticeable like what I have mentioned earlier.

COMFORT: 5/5

The Kimchi Kumo Grey lenses are surprisingly comfy. I was hesitant to get this at first because the diameter is too big. I used to own 15~16mm lenses before and they can be quite uncomfortable at times, especially when worn for more than 5 hours. I wore this for 6~7 hours and it didn’t dry my eyes out so much. Though I wouldn’t suggest wearing circle lenses for more than 7 hours. I heard that it can really make your eyes tired.

MY THOUGHTS:

I would rate these lenses 5/5. In my opinion, this is not for everyday wear because the design is a bit too dramatic. It looks beautiful in photos though so I suggest, if you’ll be taking lots of photos, maybe photoshoots or night parties, these lenses look awesome on pictures. This is an interesting read if you love taking selfies. My photo above is taken in flash photography and you can see how the design rocks it! In terms of comfort, these huge lenses won’t bother you at all. I didn’t have to use eye drops every now and then just to prevent my eyes from being dry. They are very comfortable and they don’t easily deform on the finger when you’re about to put it i which makes putting them on hassle free. ^^ The lenses gave an extra oomph to my eyes and truly gave an impact to my entire makeup look!
