Spring is FINALLY here, although for many parts of the country you wouldn’t know that. I know a lot of places had snow recently. Sigh… Will this winter ever end?

Not only am I so over snow and the bitter cold, I am anxious to open up my windows and let fresh air in. Having to keep everything closed off for many months makes me feel like my home is filled with stagnant air. I want to let fresh air in and let old, musty, germ-filled air out.

As soon as I see bright blue skies and the temperatures are warm enough to wear a light jacket and not a winter parka, I start CRAVING all things spring – Robins, green grass, budding trees and flowers.

I wish I could plant flowers. We live in a condo and we don’t have a yard. I have tried to grow a garden on my balcony but that didn’t pan out.

I love to fill my home with beautiful, fresh scents. That is why I LOVE scented products like candles, sprays, plug-ins and oils. I have a nice collection. I use certain scents at specific times during the year. In the fall I enjoy scents like apple, pumpkin, spices and food (baked goods) scents. During the spring I love floral scents. During the summer months I go for more “beachy” and tropical scents. During the winter it’s mostly Christmas Tree scent or whatever I have lying around the home.

I am a firm believer that scent can affect your mood. It can lift your spirits, energize you and make you happy. After a long, gloomy, bitter winter we need some “happy” scents in our home.

Have you seen the new fragrance collections from Glade®? They have a new Glade® Limited Edition Spring Collection and Premium Room Sprays in some really unique (and wonderful!) scents.

The new Glade® Limited Edition Spring Collection is a fragrance collection that inspires uplifting feelings of spring. The collection is available in five new fragrances:

The scents are available in room sprays, jar candles, plugins, wax melts and solid air fresheners. They range in price from $1.00 (solid air freshener) to $5.00 (room spray).

In addition to the Spring Collection, Glade® has also introduced a line of premium room sprays. These unique scents are only available as a spray. They are not available as candles, plugins or wax melts.

The Glade® Premium Room Spray collection is available in these delightful scnt. The new line features six bold new fragrances such as:

I’ve had the opportunity to try out a few of the new scents. I was sent to review Lavender Embrace and Island Escape from the premium scent collection. From the Spring collection I received Let Loose (spray), Lift Off (candle), Live Out Loud (candle) and Splash Out (wax melts).

I love! love! love! the Lavender Embrace and Island Escape sprays. In fact I think I’ve already used up half of the Lavender Embrace spray. I love lavender to begin with. You can smell the lavender but you can also notice that there is a lot more to it than that. It has a soft smell. I would liken it to lavender mixed in with a baby-like scent (like baby powder or baby lotion). It’s made with eucalyptus, jasmine and rose. None of those scents pop out for me. All I know is that is has a soft lavender scent which I am enjoying.

Island Escape is the perfect “beachy”, tropical scent. When I spray it my mind is instantly transported to the beach. You can definitely smell the pineapple. Even my husband’s initial reaction to it was that it reminded him of the beach. He said he could swear he picks up the scent of tanning lotion too. LOL!

The Let Loose spray, made with Kiwi and wild Peaches, has a very fruity smell. It reminds me of a fruit salad.

The Splash Out wax melts are also very fruity smelling. You can clearly smell the berries in this scent.

I love candles. Even if they are unscented I just love the look of candles, especially in the evening. Lift Off is a very nice scent. Just like the Lavender Embrace, Lift Off is a soft scent. It’s not overpowering which I like. I can’t put my finger on it. It reminds me of something. You can smell the tea. It’s a beautiful spring scent.

The Live Out Loud candle scent is the only one that didn’t appeal to me much. I don’t know why. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice scent but it didn’t stand out to me as much as the other scents. For me it’s just OK. Perhaps I’d enjoy it more in another form – such as a spray?

I am totally loving the new scents. It makes me wonder if they are going to roll out a Summer and/or Fall collection.
