I was going to share some of my eats for WIAW, but do you honestly care, when I am hosting a giveaway that involves these DELICIOUS treats? And I would much rather brag about Missy, than give you a description of what I consumed, since it wasn’t anything that would knock your socks off. But these sweet treats will most definitely knock your socks off! Am I allowed to say that twice in back to back sentences? Well I did, because I LOVE sweets! Life is short…there is a lot of good food out there to eat…and my belief is that you should enjoy it, just in moderation. Hence, why I LOVE Missys Minis.
I also love Missy, because she DREAMS BIG! She is a young entrepreneur who is following her bliss and making it happen. And she is doing it from my favorite place in the world…NANTUCKET. I was so happy to meet her the only weekend I was able to visit Nantucket last summer. Missy is a total sweetheart and no words or pictures can describe how delicious her minis are. “Hi, let me first introduce myself and of course give a big thanks to Kathleen for offering me the opportunity to be a guest blogger! My name is Marisa or better known as Missy (my nickname). I own an online bakery; Missy’s Minis Online Bakery based out of Nantucket, Ma. If you’re an avid reader of She Rocks Fitness you may already be aware of this fabulous island, located off the coast of Cape Cod. I am a native of Nantucket…born and raised on this tiny island.
My love for baking started at a very young age and has continued through and after graduating from Suffolk University in 2012. I decided to return home to continue building my online bakery, which I had officially launched during my college career. Today I cater parties, weddings, birthdays and other various events on Nantucket. I offer packages for gift bags, and of course SHIP anywhere within the Continental United States. I’ve been lucky enough to start a business in a small and supportive community. In return I have been able to successfully grow my business from my small vision in college, to what it is today! 
I may own an online bakery but I also try to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I was lucky enough to meet Kathleen (virtually) through The Nantucket blACKbook, a Nantucket blog written by Holly Finigan; a friend who is not only an excellent bartender on Nantucket but has been a huge supporter of my business. She thus, has connected me to many people and I was lucky enough for one of them to be Kathleen. For a bit we only virtually connected “liking” one another’s posts, sending tweets and of course I became an avid reader of She Rocks Fitness. This past spring during Kathleen’s trip to Nantucket we finally met in person.
Anyways, you may be wondering to yourself why would Kathleen feature baked goods on a fitness and health blog? As I mentioned, I myself try to live a healthy lifestyle, which I have also carried through into my bakery. The idea is that all my products offered are “Mini” in size, allowing for you to indulge without feeling the guilt! All the “Mini” cookies are approximately 1 ½ inch diameter, brownies 1 ½ inch squares and cupcakes about 1 ½ inch diameters. I unfortunately, do not ship cupcakes currently but offer all the “Mini” cookies and brownies for shipment. Since it’s coming up to the holiday seasons I thought it would be fun to offer a “Mini” giveaway of my best-selling products.
I may have forgotten to mention all of the “Minis” I offer are named for Nantucket locations and have unique flavors, which originated from my childhood taste profile. The winner of the giveaway will receive 1 dozen of EACH of the following:
