A yogi that is embracing strength training…seeing results…training hard…lifting big and LOVING IT??? Yes it is true and this woman is ROCKING IT! Meet Hannah from Big Yoga Houston! Not only is Hannah a total sweetheart, full of energy, always smiling, and she ALWAYS shows up! She also has been a huge supporter of She Rocks Fitness, and I am so grateful for her business and more importantly her friendship. I train Hannah twice a week and we have been working together for 2 months. Her body is already changing. She has more definition, her endurance has drastically increased as well as her strength. Yep, she is receiving a ton of compliments! Obviously…she is glowing inside and out.
We ALL know that it is very easy to neglect strength training as a runner, cyclist, and yogi. A lot of people will use the excuse that they do not have the time for both or they are afraid of bulking up. PLEASE stop giving me those excuses! You are not going to bulk up and if you can make time for a 2 hour run, bike, or yoga class, you can certainly make time for a 15 minute or 30 minute strength training circuit. Just staying…Rant over…Let’s continue!
So…this Full Body Circuit ROCKS! I have been incorporating it into my treadmill workouts early in the morning and it is challenging, sweaty, and a full body blast. It is still so dark out when I wake up and I am ready to train, so the treadmill is my friend until we “fall back” with the time change.
