Good news for NBA fans whose hands are itching to start betting on basketball; BetNow Sportsbook revealed the over/under win totals for the 2016-17 season.

Team-Over/Under Wins

Atlanta Hawks 43.5

Boston Celtics 51.5

Brooklyn Nets 20.5

Charlotte Hornets 39.5

Chicago Bulls 38.5

Cleveland Cavaliers 56.5

Dallas Mavericks 39.5

Denver Nuggets 34.5

Detroit Pistons 45.5

Golden State Warriors 66.5

Houston Rockets 41.5

Indiana Pacers 43.5

Los Angeles Clippers 53.5

Los Angeles Lakers 24.5

Memphis Grizzlies 43.5

Miami Heat 36.5

Milwaukee Bucks 39.5

Minnesota Timberwolves 41.5

New Orleans Pelicans 36.5

New York Knicks 38.5

Oklahoma City Thunder 45.5

Orlando Magic 36.5

Philadelphia 76ers 27.5

Phoenix Suns 26.5

Portland Trail Blazers 46.5

Sacramento Kings 32.5

San Antonio Spurs 56.5

Toronto Raptors 49.5

Utah Jazz 47.5

Washington Wizards 42.5

The Golden State Warriors added Kevin Durant to the starting lineup but lost bench depth. Nonetheless, at 66.5 they could still drop six games as compared to last season (a record breaking 73-win campaign) and still cover the over.

The San Antonio Spurs lost both Tim Duncan and Boris Diaw, but if fans betting on basketball should have faith in Gregg Popovich’s winning culture and the combined talents of Kawhi Leonard, Manu Ginobili, and the newly arrived Pau Gasol, they will see that 56.5 is not as high as it seems at first.

The Philadelphia 76ers are 7.5 wins higher than they were at this time last year, and 17.5 more than they actually won last season. The Sixers drafted Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons, but might trade Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel, so 28 wins does seem a bit far-fetched.

Las Vegas tends to go low on the Memphis Grizzlies, except when something unforeseen happens, like last year’s injury barrage. However, unless Marc Gasol, Mike Conley, and/or Chandler Parsons suffer season-ending injuries, they should have no trouble going beyond 43.5.

The Utah Jazz could conceivably win 50 games, and then again they might not. This is what people betting on basketball know as a toss-up.

Brook Lopez’s foot injuries could justify that the Brooklyn Nets have this year’s lowest projected win total, taking that dubious honor away from the Sixers.

The post-Kobe Bryant Los Angeles Lakers are starting a youth movement that might not aspire to more than that 24.5, but a single good month could push them past that mark.

The Denver Nuggets may not be bound for the postseason, but 35 wins seem like a reasonable goal for a talented roster and a good coaching staff.

The Cleveland Cavaliers’ under is right on par with what they accomplished last season, and there is no reason to believe that they won’t have a similar campaign in 2016-17.

The Atlanta Hawks basically traded Al Horford for Dwight Howard, but Las Vegas always goes low on them. Smart money would suggest taking the over.

The Boston Celtics have a higher over/under than the Toronto Raptors, which actually reflects their slightly better odds to win the division title.
