After a night of devastating injuries on Friday, November 22, the NBA returned to normalcy on Saturday, November 23. LeBron James was back to carving his name into the record books, stars returned from injury, and the powers of the NBA continued to reign supreme.

Here’s everything you need to know.

1. LeBron James posted 22 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and three steals to extend his streak to 508 consecutive games with at least 10 points. That ties LeBron with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for fifth all-time in terms of consecutive games with at least 10 points scored.

2. Chris Paul’s record-setting double-double streak ended last night. All he did was post 22 points, nine assists, six rebounds and one steal as the Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Sacramento Kings 103-102. He also made the game-winning free throw with two seconds remaining.

Paul set the new standard after compiling 13 straight games with at least 10 points and 10 assists to open up the season.

3. The Indiana Pacers pounded it down low to defeat the Philadelphia 76ers by a score of 106-98. Roy Hibbert finished with 27 points, 13 rebounds and six blocks, and David West went off for 17 points, 11 boards, six assists and two swats.

Paul George scored 19 and Lance Stephenson put up 18 as Indiana moved to 12-1 overall and 7-0 at home.

4. The Sixers’ dynamic perimeter duo continued to shine as Michael Carter-Williams and Evan Turner posted yet another night of big statistics. MCW finished with a career-high 29 points, six rebounds, three assists, seven steals and one block. Turner put up 21 points and 11 rebounds.

5. The San Antonio Spurs maintained the league-best pace with the Pacers by moving to 12-1. The Spurs dominated the Cleveland Cavaliers en route to an 126-96 victory.

11 different Spurs players scored at least eight points. That’s what you call balance.

6. LaMarcus Aldridge won the night from an individual perspective, going off for 30 points, 21 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and three steals. He was 16-of-19 from the free throw line and led the Portland Trail Blazers to a 113-101 road victory over the Golden State Warriors.

Aldridge became the first player in franchise history to post three career games with at least 30 points and 20 rebounds. According to Basketball-Reference.com, he’s the sixth player since 1985 to tally at least 30 points, 20 rebounds, three steals and three blocks in the same game.

Charles Barkley, Marcus Camby, Joe Barry Carroll, Hakeem Olajuwon and David Robinson are the others.

7. Portland has won 10 straight games and is now 12-2 overall.

8. Stephen Curry returned to action after a two-game absence. He finished with 22 points, 11 assists, three rebounds, a steal and five turnovers on 8-of-21 shooting from the field, 2-of-9 from three-point range and 4-of-5 from the free throw line.

Klay Thompson scored 30 points on 10-of-13 shooting from the floor and 8-of-8 from the free throw line in the Splash Bros’ reunion. The Warriors finished with 20 total turnovers.

9. DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings with 23 points, 19 rebounds, seven assists and a steal in 38 minutes against the Clippers. Cousins is one of three players to post at least 20 points, 15 rebounds ands seven assists in the same game since the beginning of the 2012-13 regular season. The others are Kevin Love and LeBron James.

Isaiah Thomas added 22 points and Patrick Patterson scored a season-high 21 for the Kings.

10. Aaron Brooks came off of the bench for a season-high 26 points in 25 minutes to lead the Houston Rockets to a 112-101 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. It was Brooks’ highest scoring output since he put up 28 on April 7, 2010.

Jeremy Lin led all Houston starters with 19 points. Terrence Jones added 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Dwight Howard had 11 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks

The Boston Celtics snapped a six-game losing streak by defeating the Atlanta Hawks 94-87

John Wall topped 30 points for the second consecutive game. He dropped 31 on 10-of-18 shooting in 41 minutes. The Washington Wizards defeated the New York Knicks 98-89.

The Charlotte Bobcats dominated the Milwaukee Bucks en route to a 96-72 win. It was Charlotte’s second 20-plus-point win since 2011.

The Dallas Mavericks were 23-of-25 from the free throw line and committed seven fewer turnovers than the Denver Nuggets. Dallas still found a way to lose.

Magic power forward Glen Davis made his season debut against the Heat. He finished with 20 points, five rebounds, an assist and two steals in 26 minutes.
