Among his many interests, Miller was very involved in auto racing.
Tragedy struck the Utah Jazz family Sunday. Roger Miller, son of the late Jazz owner Larry H. Miller, died at the age of 45 Sunday.
He was the second of five children to Larry, who died as recently as 2009, and Gail. He is survived by his wife Cheri Light Miller, their nine children (five daughters, four sons) and three grandchildren.
The details of his death have not been made public. However, his brother Greg said that he “was a gentle soul” who “will be missed.”
Many who have worked for the Jazz, one of the many companies owned by the Miller family, have shared their condolences via Twitter.
Stunned to hear news of Roger Miller’s passing. Always enjoyed our talks about technology and cars. Deepest thoughts to Miller family. DL
