Job Description

Lead, coach, and guide ASO team on Six Sigma DMAIC based problem solving methods and leading problem solving/process control kaizen activity at suppliers.

Hands on approach and lead by example in defective product root cause analysis, corrective actions, process control enhancement, and defect prevention.

Lead, train, coach, and guide supplier teams in Six sigma and Kaizen methodology.

Develop in conjunction with ATL SSC associates training material and program for conducting Kaizen and Six sigma training tools for suppliers/THD associates.

Align with ATL QA to set up Asia quality goals and objectives, ensure the flawless execution and maintain the highest integrity level of SQE, suppliers and service providers.

Lead the Asia SQE team to be the quality focal point for the supplier activities directed toward process control and quality assurance of sourcing products, work with supplier to establish a structured approach for consistency and adherence to quality procedures and requirements.

Lead the Asia SQE team to work closely with service providers on supplier surveillance audit (quality system assessment, manufacturing process capability analysis and during-process inspection etc.) to qualify suppliers and drive their continuous improvement.

Lead the Asia SQE team to follow up non-conforming from the supplier audit, during-process inspection, pre-shipment inspection, quality complaints from internal customers, product returns and safety recalls. Identify / drive root cause analysis, corrective action and preventive actions.

Align with ATL QA to develop customer-focused, data-driven, risk-based standard operating procedures and ensure executed appropriate to business needs.

Review the effectiveness of standard operating procedures, reporting, metrics, and audit controls designed to manage suppliers, factories, and products to quality, cost, service, and risk goals.

Work with ATL QA to develop strategic relationship with service providers for factory and product assessment, testing, inspection, and data management.

Drive service providers’ continuous improvement by SP scorecard, RTV metrics, CAR, monthly department operations review and quarterly performance review.

Chair Asia supplier quality seminar and coordinate cross functional teams to continue train ASO suppliers on product safety, quality, compliance, SER, C-TPAT, Fulfillment/DISC, PLM, products.

Engineering and packaging experience is required.

Actively benchmark programs in related and non-related industries, identify best practices, and implement enhancements.

Develop and deliver training (internally and externally), tailored to the needs of the specific audience.Desired Skills and Experience

BS technical or engineering degree or above required, MBA is preferred.

10+ years of work experience on quality, manufacturing, technical, leadership and personnel management.

2+ years work experience as quality director experience preferred.

Black Belt certified, prefer Master Black Belt certification.

Lean certified.

Strong background and experience on quality assurance.

Manufacturing process control and quality management, along with tools, such as FMEA, gage R&R, SPC etc.

ISO9001 auditor certified.

ASQ CQE certified.

Demonstrated leadership, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.

Executive communication skills (e.g., public speaking and development of presentations).

Self-discipline, self-starter, ability to work in cross-functional & global environment.

Passion for excellence with high integrity, commitment to quality, fluent in oral and written English, willing to travel frequently as required and work with suppliers.
