Hey Girls!

It's FRIDAY, and you know what that means!

I'm linking up today with my friends Andrea, Erika and Narci for Friday Favorites!

FAVORITE #1:  ROOMBA LOVE

Let's kick off my favorites with THIS baby that I got it for Christmas from Chris and Carter.

Was it an extravagant gift?  Absolutely!  Do I love it?  Absolutely!
The only issue we have had with it is that it keeps getting hung on the bottom lip of our fridge.  Besides that, it's awesome!  We do have to empty it as it's running (because of our Golden Retriever), but it's still a total time saver and really does a great job!

Click HERE to see all of the Roomba choices.

FAVORITE #2: OUR DINING ROOM

Our dining room is definitely one of my favorite spots in our house.
The fact that it manages to remain clutter free is probably a big part of why I love it so much. ;)
The room sat empty for about 6 months after we moved in, and it was the last room I decorated.
The only items that we had when we moved in (I got rid of all of our old dining room furniture before moving) were the two chairs in the corners that I got at an estate sale 15 years ago. They were lime green when I bought them, and I had them recovered in this little check from Calico Corners. I still love them 15 years later!
After we moved in, the room sat empty for awhile because I wasn't finding anything I loved, and I didn't want to just buy things for the sake of filling it up. It's the first room you see when you walk in the house (and you can see it from the street when the shutters are open), so I just wanted it to be right! I still think I might eventually have it painted, but for now, I'm happy with it. It makes me smile every time I walk by.

FAVORITE #3:  RESTOCK ALERTS!!!
I absolutely hate it when something I highlight on the blog sells out quickly and lots of you are disappointed, but I absolutely love it when I find out that the item has been re-stocked!
Well, several things that I've previously talked about (that sold out) are now back in stock!!!!

1st Restock: THESE jeans that I named a MUST HAVE in December of 2015.
They restocked again late last year (and quickly sold out), and now they are back again!
These are women's sizing (not juniors) and they are higher rise than many of the jeans I've posted before.  Not crazy high rise, but just a really good mid-rise.  I didn't size down in these, but others do.

Click HERE to see what people had to say about these jeans on facebook in case you want some others thoughts!

MUST HAVE mid-rise jeans  and a plus size version HERE
top (size down-I'm wearing an x-small.) / turquoise pendant necklace /
leopard booties (size UP a 1/2 size) / watch / similar cross body

Here's a close up of  the jeans:

2nd and 3rd Restock Alerts:  The camo tee  and the taupe blardigan.

The camo tee sold out quickly and taupe blardigan keeps on going in and out of stock.
But they're back baby!

camo tee / taupe blardigan/  wood earrings / similar jeans ON SALE! /
slim profile UGG boots / leather watch / Ford hat from Target several years ago
Size References:   The camo tee sizing said a small was equivalent to 2-4, so I got a medium because I didn't want it tight, and the medium was perfect (loose but not too baggy!). I'm wearing an x-small/small in the baby blardigan.

FAVORITE #4:  My Slim Profile Ugg boots.
I have received tons and tons of e-mails asking me about my new slim profile UGG boots I got in the fall. When UGG released the boots initially, I partnered with them to get the word out about the fact that they were now slimmer...which I felt made them more slimming and more flattering.
I had never loved the traditional UGG boots because I didn't like how chunky they were!
These new ones were perfect for me. I liked how they were MUCH slimmer and I really loved the little wedge.
Most of the questions I've received have centered around if they are really worth the money or not.
I totally get that they are really expensive, and even though I live in a climate that isn't known for cold, I would say they are worth the investment. I seriously find myself wearing them almost every day...even if it's just after I get home, although I do wear them out of the house a lot as well as seen in the collage below.

This is information pulled straight from the UGG site.
My exact boot is called the Amie.
...pretreated with Defender Repellent Systems with Scotchgard™ to repel water and stains, the Amie also features added arch support, a small wedge, and the innovative Treadlite by UGG™ outsole for incredibly lightweight traction, cushioning, durability, and flexibility. Pro Tip: This boot has a more traditional and true to size fit than the Classic Boot. It is designed to be worn with bare feet, but if you prefer to wear yours with socks, consider ordering a half size up.

Click HERE for the facebook post with everybody's comments on how much they love their UGG boots!

boots c/o UGG, but also available at Nordstrom HERE
Click HERE for the mid-height (what I have) and click HERE for the tall pair my sister has.

Here's a collage showing just a handful of outfits I've worn with them! See how versatile they are? And I'm telling you, your feet will be so toasty and cozy!

FAVORITE #5: READER FEEDBACK
As evidenced above, I love getting feedback from y'all.
I had a reader e-mail for suggestions on a pair of black pants.  I had just ordered THESE for myself, and even though they hadn't arrived yet, I sent them to her as a suggestion.
Well, SHE LOVES THEM!

I just bought the Jolt 'Ponte' pants this weekend and am in LOVE. Thank you so much for the suggestion. I bought them on Saturday. Wore them that evening, all day Sunday, and am wearing them now at work. They don't stretch out or come down when I bend over (YAY)...and are so stinking comfortable. Thank you....I have seriously been needing a good pair of black pants for work (and life). - Brittany A.

Click HERE if you want to see what other readers had to say about them on facebook.
I hope to have pics of me in them and a thorough review by next week (or maybe the next). ;)

FAVORITE #6:  THIS COZY COWL NECK SWEATER

I wore this sweater to church a couple of weeks ago, and when I saw Erika, she was confused because she hadn't seen it on the blog!  Ha!
It's long enough to be worn with leggings, but it also looks great with jeans!

Here it is with leggings:

sweater / MUST HAVE leggings / faceted stone studs / similar boots
For size reference, I'm wearing a small in both the sweater and the leggings.

And here it is with jeans:

sweater / similar jeans ON SALE / circle hoop earrings/ similar boots

If you like the cut of this sweater, but don't love the stripes, there are several solid colors.
Click HERE for grey, ivory, purple, and tan.

FAVORITE #7: Madewell tees

I first introduced these tees to y'all last year, and I still love them. They are on the thin side, but I don't have to wear a cami under them, although I sometimes do.
I have this tee in 6 colors now (this orange, a pale pink, black, navy, grey, and burgundy).
I would say they are obviously a staple in my wardrobe. I wear them on their own all spring and summer, and I love layering them under boyfriend cardigans in the fall.
For size reference, I wear a small. It is not tight, but it's not baggy either. I would say it's just a nice relaxed fit.

And you know what else I wear it under a lot?  My blardigans!
Here I am walking out the door to get a pedicure earlier this week (which explains the flip flops with the blardigan).
And please pay attention to my new necklace!  I'm obsessed with my beach hoop wood earrings from Wood Keeps, and sweet Angie at Wood Keeps sent me THIS necklace!
I think it's so sweet and delicate  and the wood makes it so unique!

FAVORITE #8: My Mama

I first told y'all about these jeans about a year and a half ago.  I didn't love them for myself (a bit too high waisted for my liking), but I gave them to my mom and she loved them!

She keeps my sister's baby during the day, she's on the floor a lot, and she's constantly telling me how she's always yanking her jeans up
WelLOOK HOW DANG CUTE SHE IS IN THEM!!!!
Can we just take a minute to cross our fingers that I'm going to get this woman's genes.
Hold on to your low waisted jeans girls, because I'm about to tell you her age.
She was 67 in this picture.
GO MAMA!
By the way, when I called to ask her if I could share her age, she told me to say that she was 72 and then everybody could could go on and on about how good she looks.  Ha!

I think she looks amazing.

And HELLO.

She is ROCKING black, brown, and grey together.

High Five Mama!
She's wearing her 2014 MUST HAVE SHIRT, her brass ladder necklace,  and her Melissa Frye Button Boots .

Isn't she just as cute as can be?

NYDJ Colored Stretch Jeans HERE

I told her I needed a waistband shot, and God bless her, she complied.  :)
She also said that she had no idea how hard it was for me to get these shots until she had to do it herself!

FAVORITE #9: A GOOD SALE!
I showed you these items last week, but now most of them are 50% OFF!

In the pictures below I'm wearing THESE cords, THESE abalone earrings, and THIS pendant necklace.  Please ignore the lint covered mirror in these pictures!

lou and grey tunic / shadow stripe sweater / boho poet blouse
I sized down and am wearing an x-small in the tunic, I sized up and am wearing a medium in the sweater, and I'm wearing a small in the blouse (true to size).

lace tee

For size reference, I'm wearing a small in this tee.  I took this back to the dressing room on advice of a lady that was shopping at the same time.  She said she had it and it was one of her favorite tops!  I wasn't that impressed with it off the hanger, but I really loved it on!  The site describes this as a sweater, but I think it's more like a tee.

For size reference, I'm wearing a small, so I think it's true to size.

dotted 2 in 1 sweater (with FABULOUS reviews!)
I sized up and am wearing a medium.
