FAVORITE #1: ACCESSORY CONCIERGE
I know that the fact that Accessory Concierge is a favorite of mine is no news to ya'll since I pretty much have at least one of their pieces on every day. :)

Well, the sweet girls at Accessory Concierge contacted me to see if I wanted to come to their office to look through some of the new Spring line and pick out some of my favorite pieces for myself.

You know what I like even more than the A.C. jewelry? The ladies running the company! Amy and Amy (LOVED THEM BOTH!) are friends that founded the company. They both came from corporate backgrounds, but with a newly adopted son for one and the addition of a 3rd baby for the other, they were committed to being around more and didn't want corporate life to dictate their schedules! Lucky us, because out of that desire, Accessory Concierge was born! Caroline and Jeannie were the other ladies busy working there when I visited, and I absolutely loved them too. I just wanted to hang out there all day and be friends with all of them!
They told stories about when they first started how they were doing facebook auctions and they would be up at 3:00 a.m. filling in spreadsheets and packaging up items.
Love that! These ladies really made it happen!
Okay, enough of the love fest. :) I picked out several pieces that you will start seeing on regular rotation, but THIS necklace is definitely one of my favorites.
In fact, I took off my pink quartz necklace and wore this baby home.
I thought it looked great with my black blouse, jeans, and leopard flats!
But I also have plans to wear it with plain tees all spring and summer long with both jeans and shorts. It could also look awesome with the right sundress! And you know I'll be wearing it with my MUST HAVE denim jacket too (still fully stocked)!

FAVORITE #2: Zella Work Out Gear
I've now mentioned my new Zella work-out gear several different times, but I'm mentioning it again today. I swear that Zella should hire me as their official spokesperson. Sure, I only started working out like 3 1/2 weeks ago :)....but I KNOW WHAT I LIKE, AND I LOVE ZELLA.

I can't really call this next item a FAVORITE since I don't own them myself, but I'm pretty sure they could become favorites for lots of y'all.

FAVORITE #7: Special Mom Giveaways

Well, it's time for another one! WooHoo!
Since my very first second as a speech therapist,
I of course always had a heart for the sweet kids that I worked with.
But after I became a mama myself, I developed such a heart for their families too.
Especially the moms.
Moms (and dads and siblings) of children with special needs all deserve a special place in Heaven.
I have seen first hand the love, the passion, and the INCREDIBLE dedication that these families have for these special kids that they love so much, so unconditionally.
And you wouldn't believe the sacrifices they make.
They turn their own lives upside down on a daily basis.
They often do without.
They shuttle kids between a countless number of therapies and doctors that they pay so much money for (often out of their own pockets).
They are constantly working with and loving on their kids.
They have little or no free time.
They go to bed tired, and they wake up tired (many children with special needs
have a very hard time sleeping).
And they start it all over again the next day.
It's truly something to witness.
They do it all to give their children the best they possibly can.
And what I'm most consistently impressed by is their patience.
Oh my word, the patience that is required is often more than moms and families of typically developing children can imagine.
Watching these moms and these families love on their kids like they do is nothing short of inspiring.
But in addition to all of the sacrifices that are made for the children, in addition to all of the work...
it's also of extreme importance to note that these precious kids bring their parents and their families SO MUCH JOY!!!
Yes, the kids are blessed by their families.
But in turn the families are also blessed by their kids.
It's wonderful to see.
And so, a simple note written by one of my student's moms at the beginning of the school year prompted me to come up with a way to celebrate these moms.
These VERY SPECIAL moms.
They deserve a little celebrating, that's for sure. :)
Here's the note that got the ball rolling.
And just like that, the idea for a contest was born!
