1)  A Santa Alert

4)  A pillow that makes me happy.

5)  A LOFT SALE.

*******************************

1)  A Santa Alert

Have you heard of Muk Luks?

No?  I hadn't either.
But now that I know about them, I feel as if my life is going to be better because of them.

I'm not kidding when I say these house shoes are seriously going to improve my quality of life.

(Listen, I get that I sometimes have a flare for the dramatic....or so my hubby says...but I'm not being dramatic.....these house shoes really are amazing!)
Okay.  Maybe the love note is a little dramatic.

And the second I put them on I knew that they would make a FABULOUS Christmas gift.

Here's why they make a PERFECT gift:

1)  They are only $29.95 which is a great price point.

2)  They are incredibly warm and cozy.

3)  They are SO DANG CUTE.

4)  Whoever  you get these for will totally OOH and AAH over them.

5)  These totally span the ages.

I LOVE them SO MUCH and cannot imagine somebody liking them more than I do....but then I think about how a preteen, high school, or college aged girl would absolutely flip out over these.  And you know what?  My mom would love them too!

Rarely do you find something that both 13 year olds and 60 year olds would both enjoy!

Nordstrom just started carrying them and HOLY COMFORT AND CUTE.

Seriously, my feet have never been so happy because they have never been placed into an environment so warm and soft.
Click HERE and take as long as you need to totally appreciate the CUTENESS.

They are brand new to Nordstrom, so there aren't any online reviews yet....but you don't need them.

Here's my official review, the only review you need:
BEST FLIPPING HOUSE SHOE EVER.

The pink snowflake style is what was in store (at Northpark) and what I tried on and initially fell in love with, but online there are several other options that I also love.

a)  pink snowflake HERE

b)  black and cream sweater HERE

c)  grey with snowflakes HERE

d)  cream knit HERE

e)  brown sweater HERE

If you still need a minute to bask in the darlingness of the above, I get it.

But, when you are ready, let's move on.

Ooh wait!  Shay had a great idea that I want to share with you ladies!
If you are a mom or grandma that has several girls in your family, get a pair of these for each of your girls!  You can get the same pattern, OR there are enough choices, that you can match up styles to the styles of your girls!  Wouldn't they be fun for everybody to open a pair of these babies on Christmas morning?  What a fun gift to give!

The boys in our lives need for their feet to be all sorts of cozy too.

I found these online with FABULOUS reviews so I thought they deserved to be a Santa Alert too.
Click HERE for the Minnentoka men's house shoes.

There are only 4 reviews online, but they are all 5 stars.  Here is one of them:

Good comfort here.

I
bought a pair of these 3 years ago and they are still going strong. I
wear them daily. I have been really hard on these slippers and they
merely show normal ware and tear.
I recommend them anyone looking for a slipper that is as comfortable in the summer as it is in the snow.....This is the one.

Okay, that's it for the Santa Alerts today.

Now it's time for a brief review of my leggings post.

If you want to see the 9 other Santa Alerts all in one place,

2) A Leggings and Tunics Review

If you are new here, you need to make sure you check out my post from Friday.

It's entitled "COVER YOUR CROTCHAL AREA."

Did the title peak your interest?
Seriously, click HERE and go check it out.

If for no other reason, you need to see the Ryan Gosling graphic because HILARIOUS.

And if you are totally all about the leggings, which you totally should be, click HERE to see the post where I named a specific pair a MUST HAVE!

You all went CRAZY on Friday for the tunic below.

I don't blame you one bit.

It's pretty freaking awesome.
Click HERE for all solid colors and color combos.

(It looks like the grey and block colorblock is sold out now.  Sorry!)

I ordered the plain black one (can't wait to wear it with both my skinny jeans and my MUST HAVE grey leggings that are on their way to me and my cognac wedge boots) and the blue and black colorblock (seen on the right).
And if you don't have the MUST HAVE leggings yet, click HERE.
I have them in black and grey.
They are on sale for $27 right now, but I'm not sure how much longer that will last.

Lots of you ladies went to Nordstrom this weekend and tried the tunics on for yourself and many of you e-mailed me afterwards!

Here is just one of the e-mails:

Sheaffer,

After reading your post on Friday, the hubs was in charge of the kids on Saturday so I could do some serious shopping.  I headed straight to Nordstrom and straight for this tunic.  They only had a handful left in store, but I was able to try one in my size on.

I was hoping I would love it as much as you do, but I'm a size 10 and didn't know if I would.

Well, I did.  I loved it so much that I ended up ordering 2!

You haven't steered me wrong yet.

I have the MUST HAVE shirt (in 2 colors) HERE, the fringe scarf HERE, the Penny boots HERE, the black and grey shirt dress from Loft, and of course the MUST HAVE leggings HERE . All bought due to your recommendation, and I love them all.

I will always listen to you!

Suzie

Dear Suzie,

I Love You.

3) INTRO TO MILK AND HONEY
and MY NEW FAVORITE MILITARY JACKET!

Okay, before we get to the jacket, if you are local, have you heard of Milk and Honey?

If you live in or near Dallas, you probably have.

It's been voted "Best Shop for Affordable Women's Clothing" in D Magazine for the last several year!

It's a super cool store on Knox-Henderson

Click HERE to learn more about Milk and Honey and to see a peak inside their FABULOUS store.

Well, I've got some great news for all of you that aren't local.

They are now concentrating on their online boutique too!

I had the pleasure of meeting Brittany, the GORGEOUS owner and brains behind the store (who is a Baylor grad!).

She is a young lady (tall, blonde, and TOTALLY fashion forward) that is blazing trails in the world of fashion, and she was just SO MUCH FUN to talk to.  We totally hit it off, and I'm just so excited to finally be featuring her store!

OH....and I almost forgot the best part!
Brittany is offering a 10% discount code to you ladies for the next 48 hours!
The code is:  pinteresttoldmeto

Stop it.

We have our own code.

Almost nothing on their site is over $100, and they have a large selection under $50!

(Everything both in and out of the store goes fast and they like to have a constant rotation of new and fresh inventory.  So if you want something, you have to scoop it up!)
magic carpet ride sweater HERE

(I think this would look great with my MUST HAVE jeans and TOMS booties!)
bag HERE
leather front top HERE

But even though I like the items above, they don't compare to my love for my new military jacket.

Yes.

It's my 3rd military jacket.

Don't judge.

I wear my other 2 CONSTANTLY, so I don't even feel the least bit bad about having a 3rd one.

And come on.

Check out the back.

TOTALLY justifiable.

Now if you love this jacket (and I know you do), you better listen up.
They are already sold out of smalls (for size reference, mine is a small). I talked to Brittany and there are only 4 Mediums and 4 Larges left.  That's it.  When they're gone, they're gone.
The vendor is sold out too at this point, so she isn't sure they will ever get any more in.
So if you want it, you better order it now.
And I'm telling you, you want it.
(I almost feel bad showing you the jacket since there are so few left, but I think it's a nice introduction to the types of items Milk and Honey carries.)
Click HERE for my new military jacket!
I mean, seriously.
I'm dying.
Are YOU dying?
This is how I wore it the first time.
(with my MUST HAVE leggings HERE, my grommet grey t-shirt HERE,
and my wedge boots HERE)

I've worn it 2 other times since, and I've only had it 5 days.
 I. ADORE. IT.
And....I
cannot even tell you the number compliments I've received on it.
Remember I've worn it 3 times, but I lost count somewhere after 10
compliments.
People that see this jacket, want this jacket.

It has a waist that can be gathered in, and it also looks great buttoned up too!  Very flattering both ways!  Since the back is sweater material, it has a little give to it, which I LOVE!

I'm soooooooo sad my mom already has a military jacket that she loves, otherwise I would be giving this to her for Christmas!

I'm also wearing a scarf (click HERE) and a bracelet (click HERE) from Milk and Honey.

And because all of you need to see a close up of the GORGEOUS bracelet...

Check it out.

Tri Bling Bracelet HERE.

It's only $18, and I was planning on making it a Santa Alert, until I found out there were only 4 left.

So if you want it, you better get it NOW.
Shay, hopefully you're not too late! :)

Oooh!  And if you click HERE you can see a similar jacket by the same maker

also at Milk and Honey!

Don't forget, if you see something you like, you better jump on it...because it will probably be gone by tomorrow (or earlier than that in the case of my new military jacket and the bracelet).

Click HERE to shop the entire store.
Don't forget our special 10% off code:  pinteresttoldmeto

And you can like them on facebook HERE.

And you can follow them on instagram @milkandhoneyboutique
