If you’ve been following my Instagram, or even better, if you know me personally, you might already noticed that I am such a coffee addict. I think my parents should be proud of me because I’m addicted to coffee, not to drugs.

Anyway, I ALWAYS have my coffee first thing in the morning. It’s a black strong one. And it’s peaberry coffee – if you know what I’m talking about. Even if I wake up late, I somehow still managed to brew my morning coffee, by any chance. Believe it or not? I’d rather be late than to skip my morning routine. I found, that without the kick from the coffee, I have difficulty doing my activity, even the simple one like…. walking to class. Ha!

And yay, thankfully, coffee is not bad at all. I mean, if you drink a liter of coffee a day, of course it will drive you mad. But other than that, it can reduce the risk of cancer (I think I read it somewhere) and it also keep you awake.

Speaking about coffee, last week my friend and I decided to get our works done somewhere cool. Somewhere we can have our coffee and breakfast at the same time. And you might wanna know that there are a lot of newly opened coffee shop in Bandung right now and people just can’t stop talking about them. Two Cents happens to be one of those most-talked-about coffee shop.

From outside, it looks just like a renovated old house, I can say. Nothing special. But man, when you step inside, you can totally tell that it’s a place you want to sit around for hours! It feels warm and comfy, perhaps because of the domination of the wood, and the good lighting, and of course, the smell of the coffee itself.

I can’t agree more!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE every little things they put on the shelves. Even the wall is painted nicely too! I really think they pay extra attention to the details and look at that! It definitely worth the effort.

For me it’s always coffee o’clock!

Enough with the pictures, now it’s time to eat. LET’S DIG IN! But first, let me have my coffee.

Flat White (IDR 26k)

It’s kinda hard to find Flat White, so whenever I find it, I always make sure that’s the one I order. People usually got Latte and Flat White mixed up. For me, they are different. I found that Latte is somehow milky… and has a layer of foam on top. While Flat White tasted like an even mix of milk and foam and espresso. They don’t have a thick layer of foam on top. And it somehow tasted stronger. And of course, yummier.

Beauty, it is.

I was quite happy with this one. It satisfies my craving for a good coffee!

Full Portion (IDR 60k)

I was so hungry that time that I finished this in minutes. The bread was good! And the butter was such a great complement for it. The sausages were okay. The read bean’s delicious. The hash brown is okay. But I was not really happy about my sunny side up. They break the yolk :( And the egg white. It’s not silky smooth. And oh, the “beef bacon” is wet and looks raw to me. (I prefer a crispy fatty salty bacon anyway). But the mushroom tasted just perfect for me! Psst. They are hidden underneath the bread. Considering about the taste and the quality of each part of the meal, for me, this breakfast set is definitely over priced.

Cheese and Beef Sandwich (IDR 55k)

This was my friend’s choice. And I didn’t take a bite of it so I don’t know what it tasted like. But for me, this sandwich looks perfect! I mean, look at that ciabatta bread! Would love to try it on my next visit.

Although I heard so many people mentioning about how bad and slow the internet connection in Two Cents is, it worked just fine when I got there. So I have no problem about the internet. And the even better thing is that they provide power outlets so I could work here all day long.

Well, overall, I was satisfied for what Two Cents has offered. The coffee is great, and the breakfast menu fits me well. Definitely worth a repeat visit!

I’m a happy girl!
