Hi all this is interesting .I understand but rather irritating Hi Michelle, Thank you for getting in touch. Your email was very timely as we had also very recently been in contact with Action for Charity asking whether we could become a partner for the Woman V Cancer cycle ride, as this seemed like a great way to join forces with other female cancer charities. Unfortunately, Women V Cancer is a charity that specifically raises funds for Breast Cancer Care, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action. Therefore, unfortunately we are unable to join this existing partnership and take part in this challenge. Just like Women V Cancer, we too have our own bespoke events including A Walk to Remember on 19 th September , which is a 26 mile trek along Hadrian’s Wall and Pennine Way. This is supported by Global Adventure Challenges and provides a unique opportunity for our supporters to come together and reflect on the women and their families who have been affected by one of the five gynaecological cancers. Action for Charity also mentioned Britain V Cancer to us when we got in touch. This is an open challenge which allows any charity to participate, so could be a possible alternative to the Women V Cancer cycle ride and a good opportunity for Eve and our supporters to raise funds and awareness of all the women’s cancers, this is something we are exploring further at the moment. We greatly appreciate your support in promoting awareness of womb cancer and thank you so much for all you are doing to champion our work. If you’d like to find out more about A Walk to Remember or our events programme more generally then please do get in touch. We also look forward to continuing to keep you up to date with our work more generally. Can the Eve Appeal not partnership for this ? I look forward to hearing from you. We are certainly not discriminating against the Eve Appeal and Womb Cancer - it is simply just that this event is bespoke to the three women's cancer charities that we have formed this partnership with. We organise lots of other events that offer people the opportunity to fundraise for the Eve Appeal and many other cancer charities and hospices. One of our biggest events Britain V Cancer has raised hundreds of thousands for nearly 100 different cancer charities/hospices across the UK. There so little awareness and increasingly so many women pre menopause are getting it I felt that I had to write to you to ask why it is not on the campaign like the other female cancers? It's not the same cervical and I had a clear smear when the womb cancer was discovered . Please could you contact me so I can tell you about womb cancer the surgery and radiotherapy . I look forward to hearing from you. 07710762883 . Michelle Kind regards Sent from my iPhone
