October 2012 marks San Francisco's inaugural Innovation Month. This declaration is both a celebration and a call to action to highlight the City’s need to further embrace technology and catalyze greater job creation, community engagement and government efficiency through innovation.
This event is a celebration of Innovation Month, applauding the community and key influencers across technology, retail, media and government that build opportunities and promote innovation in the City of San Francisco.
Join the Office of Economic & Workforce Development and the Mayor's Office of Civic Innovation for the launch of InnovateSF.com, the City's event listing site, and Westfield Labs, a new entity of The Westfield Group which will serve as a global digital lab dedicated to innovating the retail ecosystem by leveraging the social, mobile and digital market opportunities that converge the digital shopper with the physical world.
Starting in October, visit InnovateSF.com for spotlight articles featuring events, and stories from start-ups, investors, creative agencies, technologists, media execs and brands that tell the tale of San Francisco as the innovation capital of the world.
