November 14

GEYSERVILLE — Francis Ford Coppola’s newest restaurant at his Virginia Dare Winery, Werowocomoco, opened this past weekend, and it’s already causing conversation. MID-MARKET — Naughty doughnut purveyor Doughnut Dolly is now officially open in The Market (1355 Market St.), daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. (or until sold out). [EaterWire]

NAPA — So-called "cooking club" Kitchen Collective has opened at 1650 Soscol Ave., and it’s designed as a private club with a "fully-stocked state of the art kitchen with personal coaching from a professional chef." LAKESHORE— The Cat House has opened its doors in Oakland, so-named for the owners' love of the furry creatures. It takes over the former New Easy bar space, and offers craft cocktails priced at $10 or less. [Berkeleyside]

AMERICAN CANYON— Another Dunkin' Donuts has reared its head in the Bay Area, this time in the North Bay. Per usual, the opening was marked by long lines starting in the wee hours of the morning as fans queued up for coffee and a glazed. [Napa Valley Register]

BERKELEY— Poke seems to be rapidly multiplying in Berkeley with the opening of Pokeganda on Telegraph. It's located inside shaved ice spot Vampire Penguin (which is also occupied by Uji Time), and serves up bowls of raw fish with a variety of mix-ins. [EaterWire]

MISSION— Bar Tartine's Nick Balla and Cortney Burns have opened their newest project, Motze, as of last week. It's a semi-permanent pop-up offering three courses of family-style dining. [EaterWire]
