Eye Examinations
At Eyelines your eye examination will be conducted using the very best equipment, to ensure that we achieve, not only the perfect prescription but also a comprehensive health check for your eyes and visual system. We will not rush your eye examination, we take however long is necessary to carry out all the tests to ensure the optimum results for your vision and the health of your eyes.
Contact Lenses
Eyelines provides a comprehensive contact lens service, we start with a careful assessment of your eyes to ensure suitability, should there be any underlying condition that could cause difficulty or discomfort in wear we treat this first. Then we proceed to choose the most suitable contact lens for your eyes, these lenses are trialled so that you can evaluate the comfort and vision. The next step is to teach handling and care of the lenses and then to ensure successful wear, regular aftercare appointments are scheduled. We supply every type of contact lens from the simplest daily disposable, to fully custom made RGP lenses for degenerative corneal conditions.
Dispensing
When it comes to clear vision, buying a pair of glasses “off the shelf” just doesn’t cut the mustard – especially as each individual client has unique requirements. At Eyelines we understand the importance of providing our customers with personal, professional and impartial advice.
We will endeavour to help you choose a frame that fits well, looks good, and suits whichever lenses you need. With regard to lenses, we supply virtually every type available, from the best manufacturers’ world wide so that you get the best possible product for your needs.
Beautiful frames, with accurately prescribed and fitted lenses of the highest quality, are quite often rendered completely useless by cursory or non existent fitting upon collection; therefore all our spectacles are fitted with care by a qualified optician when you collect them.
Eyelines can also provide a custom made spectacle service with frames designed in collaboration with you the client. We provide this service with frames by TD Tom Davies and LINDBERG.
Manufacturing
All spectacles are assembled in our own on site lab , which gives us good control of both lead time and quality . We have purchased the latest “3D” digital lens edging and milling equipment so that even the most complex work can be tackled with confidence. Any frame can be glazed in house, whether it is brand new or a cherished old friend that you do not wish to loose.
Eyelines can also carry out the majority of repairs on site and we are always more than happy to readjust spectacles that do not quite fit as they once did.
