I live in the Inland Empire in CA. I would like to move mit to an apartment around the areas of Riverside, Moreno Valley, or Grand Terrace. I just want to know anybody knows of any apartments in the area that allow German Shepherd dogs. I only have 1 and he or she has been to obedience training and is very calm around people. She is not an aggressive dog at all but I know because of size many tenants will not allow my dog into their apartments. I hope someone can help me find the perfect apartment that will allow my companion because she is all I have.

You continue to look until you find a place that will rent to you with your dog. If it was your child and they didn' t allow children, would you sell your child? If you absolutely can' t and simply don' t want to go through the trouble (I have been capable of finding housing to rent all over the country with Dobermans) – then find a good legitimate GSD rescue and have them rehome the poor guy – if you won' t miss him and feel like selling him, then he sure as heck won' t miss you.

You just need to call around. Find some pet friendly apartments in your area and then ask about breed restrictions. I know in my apartment I' m currently in they allow them. But it really just depends on the place.

A lot of apartment complexes have insurance policies that don' t allow certain breeds. A lot of the time, the GSD is part of that restricted list.
Have you checked craigslist? It might be easier to find a place that allows GSDs from someone renting an apartment in their home or private residence.
