Last week I received November’s Degustabox. There where loads of yummy items in the one and here is a video of me opening it and having a sneaky taste of a few of the items
And here is everything I got in this month’s box.
Butterkist Choc Mallow Popcorn
This was really delicious and best of all it was suitable for vegetarians. One of my favourite flavours of popcorn I have tried. Will be buying this again, no doubt! And this cost £1.49, so not a bad price at all either.
My overall rating
Butterkist Sweet Cinema Style Popcorn
Lovely and sweet and the perfect size for one. With only 76 calories per a bag. And only 28p less than a packet of crisp and properly healthier too.
my overall rating
Ryvita Thins
These come in a few different flavours. I received the Caramelised Onion, which I have tried before. I really like these and buy them often, but only when they are on offer for £1, as they normally cost £1.89. I have also tried the sweet chilli flavour which I like better and I like to dip then in a nice soft cheese.
My overall rating
Ryvita Crackers
These come in 4 packs of 6. I think I would have prefered it though if they came in 6 pack of 4’s. They are cracked black pepper flavour and you can really taste it, so I don’t think my kids would like these very much. too strong for them. These are £1.29 a box.
My overall rating
Appy Kids Juice Drink
These come in a pack of 3 in golden apple flavour with the Gruffalo picture on the front. These are £1.49 for a 3 pack, but are 100% natural, so worth it in my eyes.
My overall rating
Hartley’s Glitter Jelly
I was a bit excited when I got these as I found out they are suitable for vegetarians and normally Hartley’s Jelly isn’t. So I am so glad that I get to try these out as they sound fab!! Haven’t tried them yet, but I bet they taste amazing. I got raspberry and mixed berry flavours and these are 75p each
My overall rating
J20 Glitterberry
This was just gorgeous! It’s cherry, grape and spice. You can really taste the cherry which i love. And it is full of edible glitter. These will be great at party’s and cost £2.49 for a pack of 4. I have already gone out and bought some of the for the kids at Christmas.
My overall rating
The Good Cider
I received two flavours of these, Wild berry and Strawberry. I have never heard of this brand before so couldn’t wait to try them out. I tried the Wild Berry one first and it was delicious!! It was very sweet, but that’s how I like my fruit ciders. These are just £1.50 each and I will definitely be buying these again
My overall rating
Christian Potier Hollandaise Sauce
These sauces come in a pack of 3 little tubs. I can’t say what they taste like as I still haven’t tried them yet. But at £2.50 I don’t think I would buy these.
My overall rating
Jules Destrooper Butter Crisp
We have had these before in a previous Degustabox and my husband really loves these, so I gave the whole pack to him. I can eat them, but I wouldn’t say I love them. These are £1.19 and my husband has asked me to buy some more
My overall rating
Pipers Crisp Co.
These come is a few different flavours and I received the Wild Thyme & Rosemary flavour to try. I have tried this flavour before and I am sure it was in a previous Degustabox. The flavour is very strong and can be a little overpowering, so a small packet is just enough. These are £2.00 for a 40g bag, which I think is very expensive. Like them, but wouldn’t pay that for a bag of crisp. Even if they were on offer at half price, that is still to expensive for a little bag of crisp i think.
My overall rating
Ahmad Tea – Dessert Teas
I am sure I have tried Ahmad teas before, but can’t remember where I got them from or what flavour I trued. But these are Pear & Cinnamon Strudel, a very Christmassy tea. I really liked this tea. Tasted exactly like I thought it would. Reminds me of Christmas in Germany or some where like that. Very nice and I would buy again, but only at Christmas time as a treat as they are a bit pricey at £4.00 for just 15 tea bags.
My Overall rating
Michel et Augustin Cookie Squares
These are a pack of 4 little cookie squares with dark chocolate and a pinch of sea salt. They are quite nice, but I would prefer either a bar of chocolate or a real cookie. The dark chocolate on them is really lovely though. It is priced at 89p.
My overall rating
Brodericks’s crunchy Slam Dunk Peanut Chunk
Now this was really nice!! But when I saw how many calories where in it, it did make me feel a little sick. 322 calories for a 60g bar!! I like this, but it would be a one of treat that I had now and again. And it costs £1.20.
