I love reading, it’s one of my favourite hobbies and you can often find me reading a few pages of a book in bed before I go to sleep. I have read and reviewed a few books on goodreads and a couple on my blog, but I will be sharing more with you soon. I look reading actual paperback books, but I do also read some on my kindle. There are loads of great kindle books around and i often find some really cheap and even free ones. So I thought that every so often I would share these with you. Saves you having to go and find them yourself. But please note, that prices often change, so please check how much it is before purchasing in case it has gone up in price, you may also find that some go down in price too!
The Red Letter by Kate Riordan – 99p
Secrets and lies in the 1930s in an atmospheric short story from the bestselling author of The Girl in the Photograph
Marjorie knows that James has had affairs in the past but she believed him when he said it would never happen again. Then the old warning signs start to reappear. He stays late at work and seems distracted when he’s at home. That doesn’t stop her breath catching in her throat when she sees the letter inked into his diary. A red A – seemingly innocuous and yet devastating. Undeniable.
She was a clever, independent and desirable woman once. Not someone’s second best with a broken spirit. And as Marjorie looks at the red letter A – Amy? Angela? – she realises that it’s time to rediscover herself and take back control of her life.
