It also won the “best smartphone brand of the year” award for 2015 in Nigeria. The Hot 3 and Hot 2 from the Hot series are the best-selling devices from the Hong Kong, smartphone maker. It is believed that Hot 4 will not be a difference, especially now that is has embedded the fingerprint technology.
Infinix Hot 4 summary: Infinix Hot 4 is not the latest smartphone from Infinix Mobility; however, the smartphone runs on the latest Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system, which is currently the most popular platform on the market.

Camera
The Handset sports an 8-megapixel primary rear autofocus camera with LED flash that can record 720p videos at 30FPS. It also sports a 5-megapixel Secondary front-facing camera with fixed focus and a LED Flash for better selfies and Video calling. The Rear camera of this handset also features typical, face beauty, HDR, and panorama.
However, it’s not just about how many megapixels or if it has LED Flash or not that matters, it’s all about if the picture qualities are satisfactory and appealing to the eyes.
Both the rear camera and the back camera of Infinix Hot, 4 offer image quality of photos, to selfie lovers. Yes, it features LED flash with autofocus, but there was to be an improvement on rear camera because it offers an 8 megapixels sensor with a five element lens system on top, which is not different from its predecessor.
Display and Design
The Infinix Hot 4 has 5.5 inches screened whereas body dimensions sleek a measure of 155 x 75 x 8.1 mm and the same 720 x 1280 pixels resolution as its predecessor.
The function keys reside at the bottom side. The device doesn’t have any LED notification light. However, the display offers 12 ultra bright backlight LEDs, which makes it a more brilliant viewing experience and better outdoor view.
Also, the Infinix Hot 4 has a 3D textured back and offers interchangeable covers in numerous colors, which gives you the room to make choices. The interchangeable covers are available in blue, red, gold, and black.
Battery Performance
Obviously, there was an improvement on the Infinix Hot 4 which has a mega battery of 4000 mAh Li-ion. It is packed inside the back cover. The device is heavy just because of this massive battery, but it will work very well. Infinix Hot 3 has only 3000 mAh removable battery so relatively; Infinix Hot 4 has strong one.
However, with Android 6.0, quad-core processor, and XOS interface on the Infinix Hot 4, the high brightness reduces the battery power consumption by at least 30%.
Processor and Memory
The Hot 4 has much more memory than other phones released in 2016. The base model of the Hot has a healthy 64 GB of internal storage for phones release in 2016, making it an ideal choice for users looking to have a lot of music, videos, and pictures on the go. If 64 GB isn't enough, there are other size options, or you can increase its storage an additional 128 GB with a microSD card.
Regarding its processing, Infinix Hot 4 has a quad core MediaTek MT6737 system on a chip. Its CPU runs at 1.25 GHz, which seem to bit lower than average for a mobile phone CPU. Although, it recorded an improved operating system Android v6.0 (Marshmallow) coupled with XOS an advanced interface to make sure you never get bored using your phone at all.
In conclusion, I would have loved to see the Infinix Hot 4 with a secondary microphone and also LED notification light which is important.
