Linda K. Fisher is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and received an LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law in May 2008, a J.D., cum laude, from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. in May 1996, an M.B.A. from the George Washington University, Washington, D.C. in 1989, and an A.B., summa cum laude, from Wheaton College, Norton, Massachusetts in 1982.
Ms. Fisher established Fisher Law LLC, which is a boutique estate planning and elder law firm located in Canton, MA. The Firm provides large firm attention to detail in a friendly, relaxed and client-oriented environment.
Ms. Fisher is dedicated to helping families and individuals achieve their unique goals by drafting essential estate planning documents such as Wills, Durable Powers of Attorney, Health Care Proxies, and Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts. She assists clients in qualifying for MassHealth/Medicaid and VA Aid & Attendance to help pay for long term care, as well as to preserve assets for a spouse living in the community and for leaving a legacy to children and other loved ones. Ms. Fisher also works with clients in the areas of estate tax planning, guardianships and conservatorships, business succession planning, probate, trust administration, and special needs planning.
She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Ms. Fisher was just recently selected by the National Advocates as a Top 100 lawyer in Massachusetts in the area of Wills, Trusts and Estates. This is an honor given to only a select group of lawyers as recognition of their superior skills and qualification in the field.
