Clean Data is Good Data:
PowerSchool, the Statewide Longitudinal Data System (SLDS), and the State Automated Reporting System (STARS) all contain reports to assist in identifying incorrect data, missing data, or data which needs to be edited for consistency. Many of those reports can be used in your district’s schools to help improve the quality of your student information data. This in turn, will help improve the flow of data involved in the vertical reporting process.

Object Reports:
Object reports can be used for things such as standards reporting, transcripts, report cards, scheduling forms, and student certificates. Object reports allow the user to create objects such as boxes, lines, circles, logos, pictures, and text. When you create each object, you determine where it displays on the report. Participants are encouraged to bring along a copy of the document to be created. We will also spend time on the New Standards Object Reports now available in version 9.0 and newer. This session is for current PowerSchool users only.
