Arriving in Clifton for the SCCA AZ Hill Climb the team was accompanied by rain; all through the night, and even all day Saturday.

The GRR Racing team decided to attend this event to try something new!  The course raced up the hill for 1.9 miles and had over 24 turns.  With the weather conditions, and loose classing regulations the team decided to do a few runs and then head to the NASA AZ night event at Firebird International Raceway.

The event was the talk of the town, with police escorts, local support, and even a parade.  The team enjoyed itself while there, but decided they could get more track time if they headed to the NASA event.

While at the NASA event, Michele Abbate competed in the UMS Time Attack where she placed 2nd in her class.  Both events offered some stress free time in the race car, and it was the perfect combination to test the new cooling set up and AutoMeter gauges.  The car ran nice and cool, even in the AZ desert heat!

Abbate will be participating in the Pacific Road Racing Championships at the Auto Club Speedway on October 17 and 18th.  The team hopes to capture another championship title for 2015 at this event.
