Note:  I received a complimentary copy for an honest review of this book from www.bookfun.org.  The opinions shared in this review are solely my responsibility.

For me, the most touching part of the novel was reading about the redemption of a man and the tension relationships can create.  I believe the author did an excellent job of showing that no family is perfect, even though some may look healthier than others.  Also, there was evidence in the story of the parents of both designers changing in ways that blessed their adult children.

Hunter Evans is a successful interior designer though for years his parents never really saw the heart of their son, especially when not following in his father’s footsteps in the career area.  Then, there is Morgan Branigan who is the only daughter of six children with five older brothers.  Morgan has been trying so hard to get her father to accept her choices to seek higher education and not choose to do what her parents did when they were younger.

Throughout the novel, readers will enjoy the relational tension between Hunter and God, as well as Hunter and Morgan.  There is definitely an antagonist who comes back to the Interior Design Company to relight an old flame with Hunter to the utter heartbreak of Morgan.  Will Hunter really go back to that shallow woman’s arms or open his heart to understand what real love is, first through a relationship with God and then hopefully with Morgan?

Morgan is a character with lots of spunk, energy, and she loves the Lord.  She has a “wee” bit of a temper, but she is also the spark which brings light to those around her at work.  Morgan was the character I best could identify with though I don’t wear a charm bracelet or work as an interior designer.  I just loved her zest for life and how she sought to bring joy to those around her no matter what she was doing.

So I hope you read, enjoy and pass on this romance novel that certainly has plenty of entertainment to other readers you know!
