Last Monday Jeff and I continued our Christmas Market tour and headed over to Ravensburg, Germany. It’s a quick 45 minute drive away, but the city is much bigger than Lindau. It’s a good place for wandering around or shopping.

For a casual day walking around I threw on one of my go-to looks – jeans, a t-shirt, cozy long cardigan, and my favorite nude suede booties. When we were home in Lindau I was totally comfortable. We’ve had great early Winter weather, and I love taking full advantage of not wearing a coat just yet. Ravensburg was different: it was freezing. Shortly after we took these photos I had to grab my winter coat, hat, and gloves from our car and bundle up. Apparently living on the lake warms up the surrounding area – it was a solid 10 degrees difference.
We spent the day just walking around and trying food from the various market stands. I always joke that Jeff and I are eating our way through the Christmas Markets of Germany. There’s just so many delicious and different things than home, I love trying them all. Usually I try and eat pretty healthy, but I always give myself a pass in December. As long as I’m working out and feeling good, who cares. Like if way too short to deprive yourself – especially when traveling!
Despite the chilly temperature of Ravensburg, I remain obsessed with my long cardigans. It’s definitely the one sweater you need this season – they’re so cozy and add the perfect amount of polish to even basic looks. I love pairing mine with heeled booties – I think it does a great job of visually elongating your body. I’ve linked up a few of my favorite long cardigan styles below.
