ASSA ABLOY is adding yet more contactless RFID technologies to Aperio® wireless lock range. Online escutcheons from ASSA ABLOY’s wireless access control range will now offer compatibility with the LEGIC® technology platform.

Among high-frequency RFID technologies, Aperio® battery-powered locks with smart card readers already support iCLASS® by HID, MIFARE™ and MIFARE DESFire™. Compatible low-frequency RFID technologies already include HID Prox/EM410 (125 kHz).

Online Aperio® escutcheons now also support LEGIC® 13.56 MHz RFID technologies (Advant, Prime, ISO/IEC 14443 UID, ISO/IEC 15693 UID).

Aperio® cylinder support for LEGIC® RFID technology is due to be added soon. Other security devices from ASSA ABLOY’s fast-growing Aperio® wireless access control range will follow.
