Odysseo by Cavalia is in Salt Lake City, but not for much longer! I have heard amazing things about the show and I was even invited to a press event to see the show, but it was while we were on vacation. I was really bummed out about that, so when I received an email asking if I would like 4 free tickets to see the show, I was thrilled! So we invited another couple to join us and we had a great date night.
The show was created by the co-founder of Cirque du Soleil and it is filled with 70 stunning trained horses and 45 artists who are incredibly talented. The music is amazing and I love how the vibe of the show continually changed. In one scene it’s very serene and then about 10 minutes later you are clapping and on your feet as you witness amazing acrobatics.
I loved the scenery and lighting, it really helped make the show come to life and seemed to transport you to different seasons and countries. That was really amazing!
The horses were beautiful and very well trained…although we did witness a rogue horse at one point, but honestly that was a highlight for us. It definitely showed that horse’s personality!
The final show of Odysseo by Cavalia in Salt Lake City will be on June 20th so get your tickets while you can!
