Cobalt, a division of ADP Dealer Services is seeking a Launch Manager.

This position will be responsible for planning and coordinating the activities of the operational teams required for supporting major customer and product launches. The operational teams include: Sales Operations, Order Management, Production, Contracts, Finance, eCare, Marketing, and Information Services/Information Technology.

The activities that need to be defined and documented for a launch include: how a product is to be sold, ordered, fulfilled, invoiced, trained and serviced within Cobalt. You will need to work closely with Account Managers and Product Managers to engage them with the various operations stakeholders, prepare the operational launch plan and manage that plan. This person will need to communicate status on progress, ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner, and cross-functional teams work cooperatively to ensure a launch is successful. The right candidate for this job needs to be able to work across organizational units, make certain that each stakeholder understands his/her responsibilities and delivers in accordance with the established plan. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading the establishment of a standard process for launches and educating the Account Management and Product Management organizations on that process.

The Launch Manager is highly organized, articulate, detail-oriented, has an understanding of business operations and is comfortable leading and delegating within a cross-functional team structure.
- Planning, management and control of the operational activities of a customer or product launch.
- Working with operational stakeholders to drive out detail plans as appropriate.
- Managing multiple launches at the same time.
- Meeting with Account and Product Management to understand the scope and operational requirements/impacts of a launch.
- Working with Account and Product Managers to ensure all impacted operational stakeholders understand what they need to do and buy into the plan and approach.
- Maintaining a calendar of future launches and communicating that out to the operational stakeholders.
- Working across the organization to lead the development and implementation of standard launch process.
- Communication and education of the launch process.
- Providing guidance, leadership and support to team members.
- Issue and risk management, including issue escalation and timely resolution.
- Leading and publishing results of regular launch team meetings.
- Weekly status reporting.

QualificationsRequired:
(Experience, Skills, Academic)
- Demonstrated Project Management skills - planning, controlling, resource allocation, issue management.
- Demonstrated ability to define, document and communicate standard operational processes.
- Strong mentoring, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
- Understanding of back office operations such as order management or billing.
- 3+ years project management experience in a role that required interaction with diverse operational groups.
- Prior experience with customer or product implementations.
- Proven experience in managing cross-organizational projects or initiatives.
- Proven experience at creating and implementing business or operational processes and procedures.
- Experience working with MS Office Suite (including MS Project and Visio).
- Experience in a fast-paced rapidly growing organization.
- BS/BA or equivalent work experience
