## Description

Job Description:
As a part of a hardware development team, the RF Engineer will be responsible for the RF design and validation of wireless products using standard handset building blocks. The successful candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in radio design, integration and validation in a combination of LTE, UMTS, and GSM technologies. The successful candidate will proven RF experience in mobile communications product development. Detailed knowledge of RF transceiver technologies and associated RF cellular front-end devices is a prerequisite. The role consists of an extensive emphasis on RF hardware optimization and validation and utilizing gained knowledge of the hardware system in a challenging customer support role.

Responsibilities:
To work in a small functional team, interfacing regularly with other engineering groups (IC design, FW, platform systems, SW etc.) and close to customer design teams in support of the development of multi-mode mobile platforms based on Intel baseband and RF solutions. To establish technical expertise in Intel's transceiver solutions and utilize this knowledge to:

. Front all RF related issues, working occasionally with customer teams or the customer to recreate, understand RF issues and to investigate root cause.

. Provide technical link between customer and Intel RF development teams at all stages of project life cycle.

. Communicate requirements and issues to HW design teams, generate data to support investigations and aid quick resolution of customer issues.

. Provide input to customer schematic and layout reviews to ensure optimal performance of Intel RF transceivers in customer design.

. Help the company and customer with yield and spread related issues by running RF validation tests and check margins against the 3GPP specification.

. Work closely with cross-functional, multi-site teams on complex system issues to determine creative and effective resolution.
