Now, more than ever before, Disney seems to have their hands in everything. They've got their own Disney animation studio, live action developments, multiple international theme parks, and ownership of three of the largest film empires in the entire world: Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars!

At the rate they're going now, Disney's D23 Expo is promising to usurp San Diego Comic Con as the most popular fandom convention, due to its ingenuity and versatility. There's a whole new world of announcements to make in so many different genres and mediums, that most Disney fans don't even know what to expect from D23. Disney's Expo has grown into one of the biggest weekends for film, TV, amusement parks, and entertainment.

While we can't say with 100% certainty exactly WHAT they'll unveil this year, we've put together a list of some pretty good ideas of what to expect. Although there's a rough schedule outlining when and where at the Expo certain things will be announced, the Mouse House is pretty good at keeping major details, spoilers, and leaks under wraps. Who knows what secrets and surprises will be revealed at this year's Expo?

Vote up the most anticipated announcements for the 2015 D23 Disney Expo! Let us know what you're most excited to see in the comment section.

New Pixar Footage (The Good Dinosaur)

2015 has been a great year for Pixar movies, with the release of Inside Out. This movie was an adorable look at the inner emotions of a young girl named Riley, and what happens when Joy and Sadness can't find a way to exist in harmony in her brain.

For the first time ever, this year will become a TWO Pixar movie year with the release of The Good Dinosaur in November. The teaser shows our main characters, but reveals little about the story, and appears to be a largely silent film. Hopefully D23 will tell us more!

Disney's Hollywood Studio Expansion

Disney's Hollywood Studios has already confirmed that they will be undergoing a re-branding and name change, and we're all so excited to see what the future holds! Say goodbye to "MGM": a new era is in play at Disney World in Orlando, FL. Rumor has it that they may even be expanding the Hollywood part of Disney's California Adventure theme park to match! With the 90 minute 'Disney Parks and Resorts' Saturday presentation, we'll finally get some answers.

Star Wars Land Rumors

It has long been rumored that Star Wars exhibits are coming to both Disneyland AND Disney World in North America. But did you know that Disney may be upgrading all of their parks world wide to include a little slice of everyone's favorite galaxy far, far away? Kids and adults across the globe will be able to enjoy Star Wars exhibits if Disney integrates them into their other international park destinations, like Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disney.

Disney CEO, Bob Iger, said in an interview, “There’s a fair amount of design and development [executed by the company’s Imagineers] to greatly increase the Star Wars  presence in multiple locations around the world… The plans are ambitious, so it’s going to take some time for them to be built and opened.”

With The Force Awakening's release in Decemeber 2015, we hope to see a little more R2D2 incorporated into our favorite Disney parks.

Marvel Comics Park Integration

Marvel's films have been smashing box office records with superhero blockbusters like The Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America, the Hulk, Thor, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Ant Man.  Although Disney bought Marvel Studios years ago, they still have yet to capitalize on that huge acquisition in their theme parks. Marvel has the potential for a completely separate park, or at least an addition to Disney's core theme parks.

Disneyland's Tomorrowland already has a small Marvel shop set up across the plaza from the Innoventions building where The Carousel of Progress used to be. Rumor has it that the building will be adapted to look like the inside of Tony Stark's lab. Kids have already started taking pictures with characters like Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man in the park, which seems like Disney's way of easing superheroes into the mix of princesses, pirates, and anthropomorphic animals.

At long last, it also looks like Disney has acquired a huge chunk of land across the street from Disneyland. All signs point to a Marvel theme park addition, but nothing has been announced officially.

The Next Disney Animated Feature (Zootopia)

We've seen little hints of Zootpia's tone, and have experienced it's hilarious, anthropomorphic storyline previews in the film's trailer, but we don't know much else about Disney's next big animated release.

Hopefully D23 Expo will be able to tease the audience a bit more with previews, and start building the hype for it's release.

A Very Goofy Sequel

Ready to feel old? The 20th Anniversary celebration for A Goofy Movie will be taking place at D23. Two decades ago, Disney released A Goofy Movie in theaters in all of it's Leaning Tower of Cheese-a glory. What better time to announce Goofy and the gang's return to the spotlight?

New Nighttime Show Announcements

Disney’s Animal Kingdom has already announced their “Rivers of Light” nighttime show in 2016, but what about the other Disney World parks? Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been recently upgraded and re-vamped, so they may decide to just build that up some more.

Another hopeful expectation lies with Epcot, which is rumored to finally have replacement on the docket for Illuminations, but that speculation has been around for years. The Magic Kingdom might also get a new fireworks show (possibly involving drones) sometime in the future as well.

MyMagic+ Announcement

Disneyland has been in need of an upgrade for quite some time now. It's small size simply can't compete with the enormity of Disney World, even with California Adventure as it's ever-changing next door neighbor. It’s been rumored for years that the California location would get the same technological reboot as the one in Florida.

It's looking more and more likely that sometime in the next year, Disneyland will get MyMagic+ which brings in MagicBands, FASTPass+, and so much more. It would eliminate some of the physical hard-copy tickets, Fast Passes, maps, and more, making it easier for the park to go paperless.

New Star Wars Teasers, Footage, & Spoilers Revealed

J.J. Abrams is known for his uncanny ability to keep his movies under incredibly tight lock and key until he is ready to release them. With the help of Disney, the new Star Wars film has been an impenetrable fortress that no fanboy or girl alive has been able to break into. With very little spoilers and leaks revealed over the past few months, we're hoping that D23 might be the place were Abrams feels comfortable enough to reveal new information.

Even at SDCC, most of the cast was very tight-lipped about their characters. Adam Driver refused to even mention Kylo Ren in any of the panels, and much to fans' dismay, very little was revealed about the plot.

In the past few weeks, toys, action figures, location stills, and scene stills have been slowly released, but Abrams has been extremely careful not to give any true spoilers away. At D23, we'll most likely be getting more information about the films, but will probably not get a chance to glimpse any footage.

Beauty and the Beast Footage

The new, live-action Beatuy and the Beast film is already highly anticipated, even though there haven't been many spoilers leaked just yet. The cast is simply incredible; with Emma Watson as Belle, Luke Evans as Gaston, Kevin Kline as Maurice, Josh Gad as Le Fou and Dan Stevens as The Beast, this movie is chock-full of star power. Did we mention that Sir Ian McKellan will be starring as Cogsworth?

Beyond the cast announcements, Disney fans don't have much else to go on. There haven't even been any official production stills, teasers, or film posters released. All of our information seems to be trickling in from Josh Gad's Instagram account, but it still hasn't given much away in terms of costume design, major set pieces, or possible dialogue cues. We're hoping to see more at D23.
