1. Adelaide International Undergraduate Scholarships (AIUS)
The University of Adelaide offers a scholarship program for commencing international students undertaking undergraduate study.
AIUS provides around 40 scholarships availability each year and also the waiver of 25% of the annual tuition fee for each year of the program for the full duration of the program, up to a maximum of four years.

Dublin City University (DCU), Ireland is pleased to offer two 2 Government of Ireland Scholarships to exceptional students entering the University.

1. British Council IELTS Scholarship Award for Indian Students
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is an international standardized test which is conducted to check the English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers.
It is jointly administered by Cambridge English Language Assessment, the British Council and IDP Education Pvt. Ltd.
Who can apply?
To be eligible for the IELTS Award, the candidates must-
1. Be a resident and citizen of India
2. Have taken the IELTS test with the British Council recently, with the test date being not earlier than 01 August 2013
3. Have a minimum overall IELTS band score of 6.0
4. Produce a valid letter of acceptance / offer letter from a recognized education institution that accepts IELTS as part of its admissions criteria by 15 July 2015
5. Begin an under graduate or post graduate program outside India in the 2015 academic year.

The students wishing to appear in IELTS may register themselves online within 5 weeks of the test dates. Once chosen a test date will not be postponed and no refund will be applicable unless a particular medical certificates is shown.
The British Council invites applications for the British Council IELTS Award. Eight successful winners will receive an award of INR 3,00,000 each towards the cost of tuition fees. The winners will need to begin a full-time program at any overseas university that uses IELTS as a measure of English language proficiency as part of their admission process.
2. Birkbeck University International Office Merit Scholarships
Birkbeck is offering a limited number of merit scholarships to suitably qualified students from Thailand, Vietnam and India who accept offers to do Master’s degree programs at Birkbeck, University of London, starting in September 2015.

4. Charles Wallace India Trust Scholarships
For Indian students who wish to study in the UK. Open to doctoral students, research students and visiting fellows.
This scholarship is available to Indian PhD applicants in the fields of Arts, Humanities and Heritage Conservation, but it is not awarded every year.

5. Imperial College India Foundation Postgraduate Scholarships
The scholarship is dedicated to those Indian students who want to study for a postgraduate taught Master’s program at Imperial College London.
For entry in 2015, there are two funded Master’s scholarships available.

The candidates who can be a part of this scholarship should fulfill all the conditions given below-
1. They should have applied to study on a postgraduate taught Master’s program in the Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Natural Sciences or Imperial College Business School, having applied through the normal application process;

Who can apply?

King’s College London (KCL) offers two fully funded studentships to Indian students studying for PhDs in the field of modern Indian intellectual history or history of ideas at KCL.
The Tagore Centre for Global Thought at the King’s India Institute invites application for fully funded PhD Studentships and Research Visit in the UK.
Indian researchers must have an unconditional offer of admission to the PhD program at the King’s India Institute and already registered for a full-time PhD program in a recognized Indian university.
Studentship covers full tuition fees, a subsistence grant and research materials allowance. The research visit will cover travel expenses, accommodation for 3 months and a subsistence allowance.

11. Newcastle University Undergraduate India Scholarships
The Newcastle University India Scholarship is provided to those programs who will be commencing in September 2015.
Scholarship Amount – £5,000 (For UG Programs) and £3,000 (For PG Programs).
Who can apply?
(I). Foundation Programs
1. Candidates who have completed 12 Years of schooling (or the local equivalent to meet the same standard) who fail to meet the academic entry requirements for undergraduate entry, or strong evidence of ability to successfully complete the Foundation program and progress to their chosen degree program, would be considered for the Foundation program.
As part of the application, students will also need to show that they meet the minimum English language level for entry to the Foundation program.
(II). Undergraduate Programs
1. Candidates who have the International Baccalaureate Diploma or British A-Levels with 28 points or more will be considered for direct admission to Bachelor’s degree courses.
2. Candidates with good marks in the Higher Secondary School certificate – Standard 12 awarded through the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or the India Council for School Examinations (ICSE), or any equivalent examination board will be considered for direct admission to Bachelor’s degree courses (subject to attaining a minimum of 75%-80%).
(IV). Postgraduate Study (Masters and Research Degrees)
1. Candidates who have a Bachelor’s Degree (BA / BSc / BComm / BEng / BTech / LLB honors) or a Bachelor’s degree in a professional subject who studied at Central or State Universities, an Indian Institute of Technology or a Centre of Advanced Study will be considered for direct admission to postgraduate taught programs.
2. Grades of 60% and above are normally required for admission to postgraduate programs requiring a 2.1 degree program.
3. Grades of 55% and above are normally required for admission to postgraduate programs requiring a 2.2 degree program.
4. Grades of 70% and above are normally required for MRes programs in the Faculty of Medical Sciences.
5. Holders of a Master’s degree (M.Sc., M-Tech) will be considered for direct admission to postgraduate research programs (MPhil/PhD).
6. PhD candidates should have a good result in their master’s dissertation.
(V). English Language Requirements
1. Students from India who have at least 70% or higher in English at Standard XII would be considered to satisfy the English language requirements for undergraduate study.
2. All other students would be required to provide details of a recognized English Language qualification. English Language requirements are different for each course – please check with the University before applying. Applicants whose first language is not English generally require IELTS 6.5, Pearson’s PTE Academic Test 62, or equivalent.
12. Oxford and Cambridge Society of India (OCSI) Scholarships
OSCI Scholarships are available for Indian students at any degree level to study at Oxford University or the University of Cambridge in the UK.
The Oxford and Cambridge Society of India Scholarships are part-cost awards for undergraduate, second undergraduate, graduate study and research in any subject available at the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford, UK.
Scholarship Amount - INR 400,000 (Rupees Four Lacs only).
Who can apply?
All applicants must have secured admission to the University of Oxford or to the University of Cambridge.
Applicants must also meet the following criterion in order to be eligible for the above scholarship –
1. Not more than 30 years old as on 1 September 2015.
2. Nationality – Indian (Citizen of India).
3. Graduate of an Indian university.
4. Ordinarily resident in India.
It would also be preferred if late schooling was done in India.

The willing candidates may submit their applications to Oxford and Cambridge Society of India by 30th April 2015.

13. Saltire Scholarships
Scholarships for students from Canada, the US, India and China to study in Scotland at any degree level.
Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships (SSS) is a substantial program of scholarships, offered on a matched funding basis between the Scottish Government and Scottish Higher Education Institutions.
The scheme offers up to 200 awards, each worth £2000.
These are towards the tuition fees, for any one year of full time study, on an Undergraduate, Masters or PhD course at any of Scotland’s higher education institutions.
The scholarships are available to students as part of a wider strategy to promote Scotland as a study destination and showcase Scotland’s higher education offering in international markets.
Who can apply?
1. The candidates must have a conditional or unconditional offer of a place at a Scottish university on an eligible course.
2. Candidates must be a citizen of Canada, India, USA or the People’s Republic of China.
3. They must be able to demonstrate that they can meet the costs of living in Scotland and the remaining tuition fees.
4. They should not have previously studied for a full undergraduate degree in Scotland.
5. They should not have previously received a Saltire Scholarship.

14. Sir Ratan Tata Fellowships for South Asian Students at LSE
Scholarships for social science students from South Asia to study at the London School of Economics (LSE) in the UK within the LSE Asia Research Centre (ARC).
The Sir Ratan Tata Foundation and the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) invites applications for the Sir Ratan Tata Post-doctoral Fellowship, now in its nineteenth year.
Duration – 8 months.
Scholarship Amount – £1,500 per month.
Who can apply?
1. Applicants should be early career researchers working on social science research focusing on South Asia.
2. Applicants should have completed a PhD – the fellowship is not intended for students registered for a degree or diploma, nor is it intended for senior academics.
3. The Fellow will be expected to engage in social science research broadly on the themes of Economy and Society in South Asia with a particular focus on the themes.
4. The Fellow will be expected to finish a piece of research of publishable quality during their stay and make a presentation at a seminar or lecture arranged by the Asia Research Centre.
5. The Fellowship is open to candidates from South Asia, that is, the SAARC region which includes Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The Fellowship is supported by the Sir Ratan Tata Trust.

15. Sussex India Scholarships for Master’s Students
The University of Sussex offers for all overseas fee paying students from India.
Scholarship Amount – £3,000
Who can apply?
1. Candidates must be a self-financing student from India and have accepted an offer of a full-time place on a Masters course at the University of Sussex.
2. If their offer of a place is conditional they will need to meet the conditions of offer before admitted to the University and awarded the scholarship.
3. The scholarships relate to all full-time taught Master’s degree courses at the University of Sussex (e.g. MA, MSc, LLM. MRes).
4. MA degrees in IDS apart from the MA Gender and Development and the MA in Climate Change and Development
5. Pre-Masters degrees and diplomas taught at partner colleges which are validated by Sussex
6. The scholarship is available only to self-financing students. If your tuition fees are funded by an external funding body you will not be eligible to receive the scholarship.

16. UCD Global Graduate Scholarships for Indian Students in Ireland
Funding opportunities for Indian students at graduate level studying at University College Dublin in Ireland.
The scholarship is open to all successful applicants to eligible full time, one-year taught Masters programs who are citizens of and resident in India.
Scholarship Amount – 100 * €3,000 Tuition Fee Scholarships.
17. UCL Global Excellence Graduate scholarships for International Students
Scholarships to study at University College London, open to graduate Indian students on any program at UCL.
Scholarship Amount – £5,000.
Who can apply?
1. Applicants must have been offered a place on a graduate program in any department at UCL.
2. They must have an excellent academic record, possess notable academic achievements and exhibit further academic potential.
3. Residency – UK, Europe (excluding the UK, but including Russia), Africa, the Indian sub-continent and the Middle East, China, North and Central South-East Asia, Australasia, North America, Central and South America including the Caribbean.
How to apply?
There is no application process, students are nominated for scholarships through their academic departments.
To be nominated, candidates must have applied for and been offered a place on their postgraduate program of choice by 30th March before the academic year in which they wish to commence their course.
