Boyd Fights at Madison Square Garden, Saturday, July 26th.
Big Venue! Big Break! Big Opportunity! Boyd Melson will fight Saturday, July 26th, at Madison Square Garden on a card headlined by the world middleweight title bout between WBA champion Gennada Golovkin and Daniel Geale. Boyd's opponent will be Glen 'Jersey Boy' Tapia who has a 20-1 record with 12 KO's. Boyd acknowledges this will be "the toughest fight of my career", but that it is essential for him to move to the next level. Boyd donates the profits from his fights to support the clinical trials in the United States.
