We are pleased to announce two new hires to the SNO team: Logan Aimone and Kari Koshiol.
Kari Koshiol
Kari joined SNO in June to enhance our support and training services. Over the course of the next few months, Kari will be reworking all of the SNO FLEX written instructions and video tutorials, and she will work closely with new SNO customers to help them learn their way around their new sites. In addition, she’ll be available to answer support questions from all SNO customers and to teach them how to make the most of the design and style tools built into the FLEX theme. Kari has already started creating new support videos, which you can view on our YouTube and Vimeo Channels. In addition to her part-time duties with SNO, Kari will continue to teach journalism and English at Benilde-St. Margaret’s School, where she was recognized as the student-choice teacher of the year in 2011. She holds an M.A. in Education from the College of St. Catherine, has ten years of teaching experience, and has served at BSM as a mentor teacher.
Logan Aimone
Logan’s name will be a familiar one to many of you, and he will be joining SNO on August 5. In addition to new education and training initiatives to be announced this fall, Logan will help us seek out advertisers for the SNO Ad Network, and he will be working with schools that are already in the Ad Network to grow their site traffic and earn revenue for their programs. Logan will also oversee the rollout of our SNO National Edition, a new site to showcase the best scholastic journalism being produced by SNO member schools nationwide. Logan is the former executive director of the National Scholastic Press Association and Associated Collegiate Press, and he was an award-winning high school journalism teacher before serving in that role. He is certified as a Master Journalism Educator from JEA, has served on the JEA Certification Commission, and has a M.Ed. from the University of Missouri in English and journalism education.
We are thrilled to add Kari and Logan to our team, and they will be invaluable resources in SNO’s mission to help scholastic journalism programs and support journalism educators.
