Mizoram Scholarship Scheme 2016-17
The Social Welfare Society of Mizoram State is standing for the commencement of Mizoram Scholarship Scheme 2016-17 online. The council will award the lacks of money to the eligible and needed persons for their further education. This scholarship is available only for those students who are perusing the 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, BCA, BBA, MCA, MBA, B.A, M.A, M.Com, B.Sc, B.Com, M.Sc, LLB, LLB etc. So all the students are suggested to read official instructions and required criteria and the fill Mizoram Scholarship Application Form on or before the last date.
The students who belong to the SC/ST/OBC/Minority (Sikh, Christian, & Muslims) will be able to grab this scholarship amount. Applicants should apply online for Pre-Matric, Post-Matric, Merit Cum Means, & Minority Scholarship Schemes. The main objective of this scheme is to provide the financial help for economically weak and poor students who are not able to continue their further study.
Each students whose family income is less than Rs. 2 lakh are eligible to submit the application form. Applicants should collect all the required documents while they are applying for this opportunity.
The Organization Provide the great opportunity to the students who are weak in the financial conditions to fulfill their complete education and acquire the higher education. It offers financial support to the candidates who can’t afford the expenses of higher studies at college/ university level.
Eligibility Criteria for Mizoram Scholarship Scheme 2016-17
Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination.
The annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs.2 lakh.
The distribution of scholarship among the States/Union Territories will be made on the basis of the population of the above-notified minorities in the States/Union Territories of Census 2001.
30% of a scholarship will be reserved for girl students. In case a sufficient number of eligible girl students is not available, then the balance reserved scholarships may be awarded to eligible boy students.
The school/college/university authority will certify the claim of the student of being an outstation students not residing in hostel of the institution concerned on the basis of permanent address and parent’s address
Selection Procedure:Unlike scholarship for SC and ST, there are a fixed number of scholarships for minorities is small and limited. Students from BPL families, having the lowest income shall be given preference in the ascending order. The renewal applications would be fully exhausted before the new applications are considered.

Scanned copy of previous year mark sheet of students.
Scanned copy of self-Declaration by the student.
Scanned copy of parental Income Certificate.
Student’s Bank A/C Pass Book.
Scanned copy of Institute verification form.
Student’s Photo.
Scanned copy of Religion Certificate (Self Declaration).
How to apply online for Mizoram Scholarship Scheme 2016-17
Visit official web portal www.mizoramscholarshipboard.in
Go to the “New Registration” option on the home page.
Enter all valid details and gain Login ID and Password.
Save Registration ID or Login ID and Password carefully (for future use)
Now log in with ID and password.
Now hit on the ‘Apply Online’ tab.
Fill all the fields in the application form with important details and upload your photo
Upload the required documents and your photo.
Check all the details once again carefully and submit the application.
Now get a print out hard copy for further use.
