Re:  Muggers arrest

I could not be more proud of the special human beings that live in this village … a heartfelt thanks to those who were involved in helping to apprehend the Kleinplaas Dam Muggers. Standing together and taking action around issues that are simply unacceptable is what AMAZING people do. Thank you!

CIS Security in Scarborough: an update

We've been operating in Scarborough for just over a month and are now able to gauge our response times. We are pleased to state that our average response time is 2 to 3 minutes from alarm activation – currently, we do not know of similar times from other providers in the far South.

Our client base has grown steadily, and we thank our clients for trusting us with their home and business security. We have two options available:
R190 ex VAT / month for response only (for those without alarm systems), and R390 ex VAT / month for full alarm monitoring and response services.

Geraint John Jones –   Born to the daughter of an Opera Singer in the Welsh valleys, Geraint John Jones weaves British folk and French chanson into his own Alt-Pop/Folk Sound. He has written, co arranged and co produced two albums, an EP and numerous singles. His songs have been featured on several documentaries and TV programs (Cooked, seasons one and two, Orange unplugged, Fixer Film and others) Screened on BBC and DSTV.   He has collaborated in the studio and on stage with some of South Africa’s finest. Among these are Freshlyground, Hot Water, Tony Cox, Steve Newman, Syd Kitchen, Madala Kunene, Guy Collins, Ronan Skillen, and others. He has also worked with Nicki Jackman of Isidingo The NEED (The Official Page) and SHARLTO COPLEY of District 9 on sound tracks for their private show-reels.    Amongst the instruments he uses onstage are his own Casimi Guitars handmade acoustic guitars.   He collaborates closely with some of Cape towns most extraordinary musicians. Ronan Skillen – Percussion, MAXIM STARCKE – Soprano Saxophone, Guitars, Sound Design, Damian Staz – Drums, and Mark Ruthven – Bass
Together these musicians help Matthew to weave a kind of music that leads you off the beaten track on adventures through uncharted forests, epic vistas and wild badlands.   Drawing on flavours from Rock, Folk, Reggae and Pop with a strong leaning towards African rhythms.

Brynn is a South African born musician and poet, raised between South Africa, Switzerland and New Zealand. Inspired by the likes of Jeff Buckley, Damien Rice, Conor Oberst, Ani DiFranco and Elliot Smith, Brynn plays a poetically driven blend of Folk and Alternative/Rock.
