Wimbledon scored its first big upset Tuesday. On Wednesday, Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams hope to take care of business and stave off drama during their Round 2 matches.

Jana Cepelova's upset over No. 3 Simona Halep on Tuesday may have signaled the start of 2015 Wimbledon in earnest. The first two days were otherwise breezy for favored players, but late in Round 1 a promising youngster fell as a warning to all those going forward: everyone is a threat.

That's especially true of Round 2, where seeded players are taking on unranked upstarts bolstered by opening round wins. No. 1 seeds Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams shouldn't have much trouble dispatching their opponents at Centre Court, but Finnish veteran Jarkko Nieminen has beaten Djokovic before (albeit way back in 2009), and Williams was upset in the third round of Wimbledon just last year.

No. 4 seeds Stan Wawrinka and Maria Sharapova are the other star attractions -- Wawrinka coming off a French Open title and Sharapova boasting the best resumé on the women's draw other than Serena's. Wawrinka gets Victor Estrella Burgos, a 34-year-old Dominican player who made his Grand Slam debut at the U.S. Open just last year, and could test Stan's fitness. Sharapova will face Richel Hogenkamp, a 23-year-old Dutch woman who could likewise keep Sharapova on her toes.

Matches will get underway no sooner than 6:30 a.m. ET (11:30 a.m. in England). Television will begin at 7 a.m. on ESPN, and broadcast until 4:30 p.m. -- well past when all matches will likely have been completed or suspended due to light. Live online streaming will be available on WatchESPN for those glued to a laptop or mobile device.
