Clean Air Council’s 9th Annual Greenfest Philly returns to Headhouse Square (2nd and South Streets) this Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The tri-state region’s largest environmental festival is bigger than ever with live music, free demos, an outdoor beer garden, organic food and drinks, handmade and green shopping, MOM’s Organic Market Kids’ Corner, a twenty-five foot rock wall, and even edible bugs.

Clean Air Council has partnered with SCA, one of Philadelphia’s most sustainable companies, to highlight new and innovative ideas in Philadelphia. Since 2011, the Green Innovators Program has served as a springboard for sustainable projects that have developed into viable businesses and programs in Philadelphia. CyclePhilly, a new app for iOS and Android devices, allows Philadelphia bicyclists to record their daily riding habits and share that data with regional planners to help in preparing for future bike routes, facilities, and helping authorities understand how bike commuters are using transit during their trips.
